This event will be starting soon.
Many of our guys will be playing here, so stay tuned for the live updates.
It seems like only 3 of our players are playing today, will go check again after this.

MikaPaasonen

Nazgul

Thorsten77
BongBob is taking a break today, and don't think Bokkie will be playing Pot Limit.
Surprisingly few players in this event. Only 600 or so in the field at the moment.
First chip update:
blinds are 25/50 nowac
MikaPaasonen 6k
Thorsten77 5.5k
Nazgul 4k
Saw MikaPaasonen take down a nice pot vs French winamax pro Davidi Kitai

One player opens, Mika 3-bets, Kitai calls.
Flop Q 3 2
Mika bets, Kitai calls
Turn 4, Mika bets 1.5k into a roughly 2k pot. Kitai open folds KK, Mika shows him JTo
Kitai stands up and leaves the room, wonder if he's on tilt.
Another player on the table asked "You guys played together before? He must think you're a nit"
Nazgul had already lost half his stack early on, but is back in business after 2 nice hands. He flopped bottom set in a 5 way limped pot, and always made top two pair

Surprisingly few players in this event. Only 600 or so in the field at the moment.
650 last year so no big surprise. it's just a dead variant.
Players just finished a 20 minute break.
Blinds up to 50/100 now.
Nazgul 7k
MikaPaasonen 8.5k
Thorsten77 busto
Thorsten busted not long after the break.
On a flop of T 5 5 with a flush draw, Thorsten77, put in most of his chip.
Turn was another T, they go all in, and villain shows QTo, for a 2 outer hit on the turn.
Apparently, Nazgul didn't hit those two big hands I reported. He was just using me to give off false info to his opponents.
He was up to 9k after a big double up, and is now at 7k after bet folding another big one on the river.
In the double up, he got it in, in a 3-bet pot with a Gutshot+Flush draw and pair on the turn, and hit trips on the river. Villain had AA.
The he folded a flush on the river, after an old guy 3-bet him. After chatting with the old guy, his opponent revealed that he had top full house with AA. So, good fold for Nazgul. Nazgul dodges bullets, baby!
In other news, Thorsten77 is running good in the side SnG/Sats. He chopped a SnG heads-up and also chopped a Main event Sat 4-ways yesterday.
The field also just got much "tougher" as"The best hold'em player in the world" Phil Hellmuth, has decided to grace the event with his royal presence.
Chip counts: Blinds 75/150
MikaPaasonen 15k
Nazgul 7k
Nazgul: "Rollercoaster again, as usual"
MikaPaasonen won two big pots:
In the first, UTG (young kid with big headphones) raise, Mika 3-bets with J2s, villain calls.
Flop KKJ, both check
Turn J villain bets 700, Mika calls
River blanks, villain bets 1.8k, Mika calls
In the second, villain raised, Mika 3-bets to 575, villain calls.
Flop J 4 4 with flushdraw villain checks, Mika makes a tiny 375 bet, villain calls
Turn 6 check, Mika bets 1,075, villain calls
River 7 completing the flush, villain checks, Mika puts in 2,800, villain calls.
One hand later, villain was busto too.

villain shows Q7o to take it down. It was worth about 5-6k
hey elhh, over 100 players more than last year so it's not so bad like you thought
Blinds are now 150/300 here
Nazgul has already busto and MikaPaasonen lost more of his stack and has 6k now. Not a good hour for us overall.
Nazgul's last hand was a preflop all in with 22bb. He re-shipped A8 and villain had A4s
Nazgul:"pretty standard"
Mika lost a big hand to Davidi Kitai, it was worth 15k chips.
one player opened to 675, Mika makes it 1,375 with AK, Kitai repots it (with a 7k stack) and Mika repots to put him all in, Kitai calls with QQ
Apparently Bokkie also played but I never found him.
You can read bout his event on Bokkie's Twitter

Mika Paasonen made a late double up with AQ vs TT all in preflop.
The last hand on his table was sick. AA vs AT all in preflop. Flop comes 5 T 8 8 T. Mika wasn't involved in it though. But the player with AA, an old man, said "I will kill myself if I bust out in the last hand"
