Hier ein paar details zur Serie falls noch nicht bekannt:
- Die erste Staffel des neuen Star Trek wird aus 13 Episoden bestehen.
- Es wird eine kontinuierliche Geschichte erzählt, deren Outline bereits feststeht.
- Erstmals werden (jenseits des Extended Universe) LGBTQ-Charaktere vorkommen.
- Der Drehplan sieht ein Shooting von September bis März in Toronto vor.
- Die Episodenlaufzeit ist dank Streaming auf CBS All Access flexibel.
- Transporter, Phaser und der Warpantrieb werden vorkommen.
- Vincenzo Natali („Cube“, „Splice“) ist als Production Director an Bord, wird aber nicht die erste Folge inszenieren.

Warum muss man das immer so hervorheben? Soll halt jeder tun was er für richtig hält, aber eben ohne dritte damit zu schaden (dazu zähle ich auch nerven durch Hervorhebung - sowas diskriminiert schon tendenziell Heterosexelle).

#Ich schaue gerade Dark Matter. Geht gerade in die zweite Staffel und hab vor kurzem mit der ersten Staffel begonnen.
Imo gar nicht so schlecht. Sie bauen anfangs etwas stärker die Charaktere auf und vernachlässigen Sci-Fi Elemente aber das wird sich hoffentlich noch ändern.

the most important part of Discovery will be about this character's journey and the self-discovery she experiences while meeting people. was da beschrieben wird, enstpricht imo sehr gut dem grundgedanken von star trek... ein universum, in welchem der mensch nach entwicklung und verständnis strebt. wildes rumgeballer ist sicherlich schön anzusehen, ist aber wohl nicht das, was der schöpfer von star trek im sinn hatte. ich freu mich schon
