Eine Menge von Karten, wie die beiden Startkarten eines Spielers bei Texas Hold'em<\/a>, sind Überkarten<\/a> (engl.: Overcards<\/a>) gegenüber einer zweiten Menge von Karten, wie z.B. den Gemeinschaftskarten<\/a> in Texas Hold'em<\/a>, wenn jede Karte der ersten Menge höher ist als jede Karte der zweiten Menge.<\/p>

Der Spieler hält in dieser Situation zwei Überkarten<\/a> zum Flop<\/a>, da seine beiden Startkarten jeweils größer sind als jede Karte des Flops. Eine Überkarte in einer solchen Situation bedeutet automatisch die Möglichkeit, dass man noch ein Top Pair<\/a> treffen kann, indem man auf einer der folgenden Straßen ein Paar mit der Überkarte und einer Gemeinschaftskarte trifft.<\/p>
