Wie wir bereits vor einigen Tagen in einer News<\/a> berichteten, hat Peter Eastgate sich dazu entschieden, sein WSOP 2008 Main Event-Bracelet mit einem Startpreis von $16.000 bei eBay zum Verkauf anzubieten.<\/p>

Eastgate sagte, dass er das Bracelet nie trage und es daher besser sei, es zu verkaufen und den Erlös an UNICEF zu spenden. Er geht davon aus, dass das Bracelet einen neuen Besitzer finden wird, der es mehr braucht als er und dass das Geld vielen Menschen helfen kann, die Hilfe nötig haben.<\/p>

Tony G: \"Finger weg von meinem Bracelet\"<\/h2>

Kurz nach Auktionsbeginn verkündete Tony G, das Bracelet für seinen Deutschen Schäferhund<\/a> \"Zasko\" ersteigern zu wollen.<\/p>

\"Bietet ruhig weiter, der Preis für das Bracelet wird eh sechsstellig. Ich liebe Zasko zu sehr und zahle was nötig ist, ich habe aber dennoch meine Grenzen. Für $2 Millionen könnte ich ihm seinen eigenen Privatjet kaufen\",<\/em> schrieb Tony G in einem aktuellen Blogeintrag<\/a>.<\/p>

Er antwortete außerdem den Kritikern, die von seiner neuesten Idee relativ wenig halten: \"Es gab einige Kommentare darüber, dass so etwas für ein WSOP-Bracelet nicht würdig wäre. Ich finde, man sollte das nicht so ernst nehmen, denn es geht nur darum, Spaß zu haben – ein bisschen Spaß für einen guten Zweck.\"<\/em><\/p>

Es sieht allerdings nicht so aus, als wäre das das einzige WSOP-Bracelet, auf das Tony G ein Auge geworfen hat: \"Ich habe bei Facebook viel Resonanz erhalten – unter anderem auch von Thomas \"Buzzer\" Bihl aus Deutschland, dem Gewinner des allerersten WSOPE-Bracelets. Er hat mir sein Bracelet zum Kauf angeboten, womit ich auch noch andere Optionen habe – kleine Baby-Zaskos brauchen auch Bracelets!\"<\/em><\/p>
