Tag 3 des WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic ist vorbei und weiterhin sind einige große Namen auf der Jagd nach den $870.124, die es für Platz 1 gibt. <\/p>

Angeführt wird das Feld von Antonio Esfandiari (Bild rechts). Der ehemalige Magier konnte in diesem Jahr trotz zahlreicher Turnierteilnahmen noch keinen größeren Scheck gewinnen und hat nun die Chance, das Jahr doch noch versöhnlich abzuschließen. Mit über 1 Million Chips hat er 300.000 Chips Vorsprung auf den Zweitplatzierten, Doug Lee. <\/p>

Hinter Lee befindet sich Vanessa Rousso mit nur minimalem Rückstand auf Platz 2 und als Vierter folgt Freddy Deeb, der etwa 650.000 hält.<\/p>

Ebenfalls noch im Rennen ist PokerStrategy.com-Videoproduzent jonathan little als Zwöfter mit 449.000, dicht gefolgt von Pokerlegende Doyle Brunson mit 440.000 Chips.<\/p>

Ivey, Johnny Chan und Jason Mercier sind raus<\/h2>

Nicht mehr dabei hingegen ist Phil Ivey. Er hatte als Achter nach Tag 2 eigentlich alle Möglichkeiten, doch es reichte schließlich nur zu einem eher enttäuschenden 80. Platz und $12.669. Ivey hatte an der Bubble bereits einige Chips verloren und konnte sich davon nicht richtig erholen, so dass er kurz nach dem Platzen der Money-Bubble das Feld räumen musste. <\/p>

Weitere prominente Opfer des Tages: WSOP-Legende Johnny Chan und Jason Mercier, die Ivey an der Rail Gesellschaft leisten dürfen. Sie schieden auf Platz 65 und 83 aus. Chan erhielt $13.725 für seine Bemühungen, Mercier musste sich ebenso wie Ivey mit $12.669 zufrieden geben.<\/p>

Der vierte Tag beginnt am heute um 12.00 Uhr Las Vegas Ortszeit, also um 21:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit.<\/p>
