Drei Tage lang hielt Antonio Esfandiari den Chiplead fest umklammert, doch jetzt, auf den letzten Metern des WPT Five Diamond Doyle Brunson Classic, musste er ihn gehen lassen. Esfandiari ist noch auf Platz 5 und die neue Kaiserin am Tisch ist Vanessa Rousso, die jetzt etwa ein Drittel aller Chips hält.<\/p>

Insgesamt schieden neun Spieler am fünften Tag aus, so dass das Turnier am sechsten Tag mit einem 6-max Final Table fortgesetzt wird. Unter den Opfern des fünften Tages finden sich unter anderem prominente Gesichter wie Andrew \"LuckyChewy\" Lichtenberger und Sorel Mizzi, die als Achter ($67.570) bzw. Neunter ($59.123) die Segel streichen mussten.<\/p>

Rousso: \"Bester Call meines Lebens\"<\/h2>

Einen wesentlichen Anteil an Vanessa Roussos Aufstieg hatte eine Hand, die sie später bei Twitter mit den Worten \"Best call o my life to double through Antonio. I have 2.4Millon and 13 plyrs left<\/em>\" kommentierte. Die Hand begann mit einem Raise von Esfandiari auf 53k bei Blinds von 10k\/20k mit 3k Ante aus UTG. Rousso callte vom Cutoff und Kia Mohajeri folgte ihr vom Big Blind.<\/p>

Auf dem Flop erschien dann \"8h\"\"8c\"\"4s\" und Esfandiari setzte 111k, die Rousso callte. Mohajeri machte sich aus dem Staub und Esfandiari und Rousso sahen den Turn mit der \"8d\". Wieder setzte Esfandiari von vorne, diesmal 260k, und Rousso callte nach einigem Nachdenken. Der River brachte die \"7c\" und Esfandiari überlegte kurz und ging dann all-in.<\/p>

Rousso versuchte noch, Esfandiari einen Tell zu entlocken und entschied schließlich, dass sie zu lange zum Überlegen benötigte und und callte die Clock auf sich selbst. Nach etwa der Hälfte der verfügbaren Zeit callte sie schließlich und drehte \"Th\"\"Tc\" um. Esfandiari muckte, Rousso sprang auf und rief \"Oh my God, that was the hardest thing ever<\/em>.\"<\/p>

Esfandiari: \"Ich habe morgen Geburtstag!\"<\/h2>

Nach der Hand war Esfandiari den Chiplead los, nachdem er etwa die Hälfte seiner Chips an Rousso verloren hatte. Kurz darauf zeigte er sich auch gegenüber Amit Makhija großzügig, den er aufdoppelte und so fand sich Magic Antonio schließlich nur mit 800k Chips am unteren Ende des Chipcounts wieder.<\/p>

Bei acht verbliebenen Spielern ging Esfandiari schließlich all-in gegen Andrew Robl, lag allerdings mit \"Ad\"\"Qc\" gegen Robls \"Ah\"\"8h\" solide vorne. Das Board änderte nichts und Esfandiari kündigte an, dass er morgen Geburtstag habe: \"You guys should know that it is my birthday tomorrow.  I cannot not make it.  I have to make it.<\/em>\" Wir hoffen auf ein fröhliches Geburtstagsfest für Antonio Esfandiari.<\/p>
