Am morgigen Abend beginnt der Final Table des PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Events und es stellt sich im Grunde nur eine einzige Frage: Ist der Titel Chris Oliver noch zu nehmen?<\/p>

Oliver ging zwar nur auf Platz 5 in den Tag, konnte sich aber zum Ende hin einen massiven Chiplead erspielen. Mit fast 20.000.000 Chips hat er etwa 200 Big Blinds und somit rund 42% der gesamten Turnierchips. <\/p>

Der ärgste Verfolger (wenn man das so nennen kann), Galen Hall, hat kaum ein Drittel dieses Stacks. Hall liegt mit 6.435.000 Chips auf Platz 2, gefolgt von Sam Stein mit 5.855.000.<\/p>

Nach Platz drei wird das Feld merklich shorter und ab dem vierten Platz bleibt den Spielern mit ihren Stacks zwischen 15 und 36BB kaum noch Spielraum für Postflop-Poker.<\/p>

Daran wird auch wohl die Erfahrung eines Mike Sowers - derzeit auf Platz 4 - wenig ändern können. Der Online-Profi hat bereits 2,5 Millionen Dollar in Online-Winnings und auch live konnte er bereits $800.000 nach Hause bringen, doch mit einem Stack von etwa 3,6 Millionen Chips muss er noch viel tun, um ein siebenstelliges Preisgeld zu verbuchen. Zusätzlich hat er auch noch den Nachteil, dass Chipleader Chris Oliver zwei Plätze links von ihm sitzt. Loose Steals vom Button sind daher für Sowers vermutlich kein Weg zum Ziel.<\/p>

Neben Galen Hall, Sam Stein und Mike Sowers gehen auch noch Anton Ionel, Max Weinberg, Bolivar Palacios und Philippe Plouffe mit auf die Jagd nach Chris Oliver.<\/p>

glorstaxus war der letzte im Feld befindliche PokerStratege, schaffte es aber leider nicht an den Final Table. Sein Main Event endete auf Platz 15, was noch immer ein hervorragendes Ergebnis ist. Für diese Platzierung erhält er immerhin stolze $100.000.<\/p>

Andere prominente Opfer des fünften Tages waren Chris Moneymaker, der mit dem zweitgrößten Chipstack in den Tag gestartet war und die ehemalige Chipleaderin und letzte Frau im Turnier, Ana Marquez (Bild links).<\/p>

Marquez hatte alle Chancen, die erste Frau zu werden, die das Main Event der PCA gewinnen konnte, doch es hat nicht sein sollen. Sie schied als Zehnte aus der Turnier aus und verpasste somit den Final Table nur knapp. Als Trost gab es immerhin $155.000 Preisgeld.<\/p>

Der Gewinner des WSOP Main Events von 2003, Chris Moneymaker, schied knapp vor ihr aus. Er bekam $130.000 für seinen elften Platz.<\/p>
