Der republikanische Kongressabgeordnete aus Texas, Joe Barton, hat in den USA seinen \"Internet Gambling Prohibition, Poker Consumer Protection, and Strengthening UIGEA Act of 2011\" genannten Gesetzesvorschlag auf den Weg gebracht.<\/p>

Der als HR 2366 gekennzeichnete Gesetzentwurf erlaubt innerhalb der USA ausdrücklich die Lizensierung und Regulierung von Online Poker. <\/p>

Darauf aufbauend würde dieses Gesetz bereits bestehende Regelungen ergänzen, die Online Gaming verbieten und das Verbot der meisten anderen Formen des Glücksspiels verschärfen.<\/p>

Dem Gesetz zufolge werden innerhalb der ersten beiden Jahre nach Inkrafttreten nur Unternehmen eine Lizenz erwerben können, die bereits länger als fünf Jahre große Gambling-Standorte in den USA betrieben haben. Im Prinzip kommen dafür also in der Anfangsphase ausschließlich amerikanische Casinos infrage.<\/p>

Sämtliche Spieler werden mindestens 21 Jahre alt sein müssen, um online zu spielen, und Kreditkarten werden als Zahlungsmethode nicht zugelassen.<\/p>

Gerüchten zufolge hat diese Art Gesetzesvorschlag (in dem nur Poker legalisiert wird und andere Gambling-Formen nicht) größere Chancen auf Erfolg als ähnliche vorhergehende.<\/p>

Ivey in Irland<\/h2>

Quellen von Full Tilt Poker haben \"Subject: Poker\" informiert, dass Phil Ivey einen Großteil der letzten Woche bei einem Treffen mit leitenden Angestellten von Full Tilt Poker in deren Geschäftszentrale in Irland verbracht hat.<\/p>

Im letzten Monat hat Ivey Klage gegen das Unternehmen eingereicht und beschuldigt, durch falsche Unternehmensführung seinem Image und potentiellen zukünftigen Einnahmen deutlichen Schaden zugefügt zu haben.<\/p>
