Auch wenn das King's Casino eigentlich in Rozvadov auf der östlichen Seite der deutsch-tschechischen Grenze liegt, finden dort inzwischen regelmäßig deutsche Pokermeisterschaften statt. Die \"German Championship of Poker\" – kurz GCOP – ging am vergangenen Wochenende in die fünfte Runde und bot neben zahlreichen Side Events ein Main Event mit einem Buy-in von 1.560 Euro.<\/p>

Der Turnierbeginn wurde auf zwei Tage aufgeteilt und wer an Tag 1A bereits seinen Chips Lebewohl sagen musste, der konnte sich an Tag 1B einfach nochmal in die Schlacht stürzen.<\/p>

Auf diese Weise fand der Buy-in über 200-mal den Weg in den Preispool und der garantierte Preispool von 300.000 Euro wurde erreicht. <\/p>

Hochkarätiges Feld in Rozvadov<\/h2>

Das eigentliche Turnier war dann insgesamt durchaus hochkarätig besetzt und mit dem derzeit in Italien lebenden Jeff Lissandro war sogar ein echter Vegas-Veteran im Feld zu finden. <\/p>

Zu ihm gesellten sich Spieler wie Jan Heitmann, Guiseppe 'lechiffre19' Pantaleo oder Khiem 'akia' Nguyen, die um insgesamt 27 bezahlte Plätze kämpften. Platz 27 sollte dabei 2.806 Euro mit nach Hause nehmen.<\/p>

Am Ende nahmen acht Spieler am Final Table Platz und unter ihnen befanden sich mit fabstinho, akia und EPT Wien-Gewinner Michael 'mae9690' Eiler auch drei PokerStrategen. <\/p>

Dort hatte mae9690<\/em> nur einen mittelmäßigen Start, da er bereits als Erster den am gestrigen Montag ausgetragenen Final Table verlassen musste. Mit AQs<\/strong> brachte er sein Geld gegen fabstinho<\/em> in die Mitte, der mit seinen Jacks das Münzwurfglück in diesem Spot auf seiner Seite hatte. Der EPT-Champion erhielt immerhin 12.276 Euro für seinen kurzen Auftritt am Final Table.<\/p>

Einige Busts später erwischte es akia<\/em>, der als einer der Chipleader in den Final Table gestartet war. Er schied auf Platz 4 aus und nahm 28.060 Euro mit. <\/p>

fabstinho<\/em> hingegen hatte das Glück des Tüchtigen auf seiner Seite und erreichte das Heads-up gegen Jan Dönges. Zwar fiel er erst zurück, konnte dann aber mit KQ<\/strong> gegen 67<\/strong> auf K-6-X-X-X <\/strong>gegen seinen Kontrahenten aufdoppeln, als dieser mit seinem kleinen Paar vielleicht eine Idee zuviel Gas gab. <\/p>

Danach war Dönges' Stack auf etwa 10BB geschrumpft und für Quoss keine Herausforderung mehr, so dass der PokerStratege schließlich den Hauptpreis von 90.493 Euro und die Trophäe einstreichen konnte.<\/p>
