In seiner Berichterstattung beruft sich Subject:Poker<\/a> auf \"eigene Quellen\" und nennt \"Mitte bis Ende September\" als Zeitrahmen, in dem die Pfändungen möglicherweise stattfinden sollen. Gleichzeitig weisen die Autoren allerdings auch darauf hin, dass derartige Angaben keinerlei Verbindlichkeit haben und es sowohl früher als auch später zu Aktionen kommen könnte.<\/p>

Der Artikel lässt auch die Frage offen, ob es möglicherweise ähnlich wie an \"Black Friday\" zu Anklagen gegen die beteiligten Manager und Domain-Pfändungen kommen wird. Darüber sei zumindest bisher nichts bekannt. <\/p>

Bei der Abschätzung der Auswirkungen einer solchen Aktion ist insbesondere die Frage nach der Trennung von Spieler- und Anbietergeldern von Bedeutung, da reine Spielerkonten möglicherweise nicht von einer Pfändung betroffen sein könnten.<\/p>

Bereits am 24. Mai hatte Merge die Aufnahme von neuen Spielern gestoppt, die aus US-Bundesstaaten kommen, in denen klare Gesetze vorliegen, welche Glücksspiel untersagen. Dennoch konnten Spieler, die bereits einen Account bei Merge hatten, weiterhin spielen.<\/p>

Das Merge Network ist derzeit bei der Kahnawake Gaming Commission lizensiert, die diese Forderung nicht an die bei ihr registrierten Unternehmen stellt. Merge Poker selber hat diese Frage selber bisher nicht kommentiert.<\/p>

Situtation bei PlayersOnly.com<\/h3>

Partnerraum PlayersOnly.com ist zwar Teil des Merge Networks, akzeptiert selber allerdings bereits seit geraumer Zeit keine US-Spieler mehr. <\/p>
