Im Juni gab es nur 3 Pokerspieler, die einen EPT-Titel und einen WPT-Titel vorweisen konnten, ohne jedoch jemals ein WSOP-Bracelet gewonnen zu haben. Der Grund dafür ist die große Anzahl an Bracelets, die jedes Jahr vergeben wird - die meisten Top-Profis gewinnen letzten Endes eines der begehrten Armbänder. Die 3 Spieler auf der Liste waren Jake Cody, Bertrand \"ElkY\" Grospellier und Roberto Romanello.<\/p>

Bei der diesjährigen WSOP in Las Vegas verabschiedeten sich allerdings Cody und ElkY von der Liste, indem sie beide ihr erstes Bracelet gewannen und damit die \"Triple Crown\" des Poker komplettierten. Heute hofft Romanello sicherlich, dass ihm das ebenfalls gelingt. Als Drittplatzierter des aktuellen Chipcounts wird er den Final Table des WSOPE Event #2 mit 253.000 Chips in Angriff nehmen.<\/p>

Die zwei Spieler auf den ersten beiden Rängen des Chipcounts werden allerdings schwierige Gegner mit einer beachtlichen Menge an Chips. Andrew Hinrichsen ist momentan Zweiter mit 434.000 Chips und der aktuelle Chipleader Gianluca Speranza kann sogar gewaltige 757.000 Chips vorweisen. Beide haben bisher jeweils mehr als $250.000 in Turnieren gewonnen.<\/p>

Alle 9 Spieler des Final Tables werden definitiv mindestens 13.982 Euro erhalten, aber sicherlich wird niemand allzu glücklich darüber sein, mit weniger als den 143.030 Euro, die es für den 1. Platz gibt, nach Hause zu gehen.<\/p>

Einige erwähnenswerte Spieler, die es bei dem Turnier zwar ins Geld aber nicht an den Final Table geschafft haben, sind unter anderem Vanessa Selbst, Joseph Cheong, Richard Toth und McLean Karr.<\/p>

Die Spieler werden heute um 14:00 Uhr an den Final Table zurückkehren und auf der Website der WSOP wird ein Live-Stream der Action<\/a> zur Verfügung gestellt.<\/p>

Event #3 - 5.300€ PLO<\/h2>

Die beiden Pot-Limit Omaha Events der WSOPE scheinen immer die weltbesten Spieler and die Tische zu ziehen und Event #3 war dieses Jahr keine Ausnahme. 180 Spieler zahlten das Buy-In von 5.300 Euro, um an dem Turnier teilnehmen zu dürfen, aber nur 49 von ihnen überstanden den ersten Tag.<\/p>

Der amerikanische Pokerprofi Shannon Shorr beendete Tag 1 auf dem 1. Platz mit 166.400 Chips. Einige erwähnenswerte Spieler, die momentan einen großen Stack vorweisen können, sind November Niner Oleksii Kovalchuk (7.), David Williams (13.), Sam Trickett (15.) und Phil Hellmuth (18.).<\/p>

Spieler, die bereits während des 1. Tages ausschieden, sind unter anderem Barry Greenstein, Erik Seidel, Tony G, Tom Dwan und Patrik Antonius, aber die Liste von erwähnenswerten Namen ist noch viel länger.<\/p>

Tag 2 von Event #3 wird heute mit 49 Spielern beginnen und nur 18 werden es ins Geld schaffen.<\/p>
