Tag 1A und Tag 1B des 10.400€-Main Events der diesjährigen WSOPE sind vorbei. Insgesamt 593 Spieler haben sich registriert - eine beträchtliche Steigerung verglichen mit den 346 Spielern, die letztes Jahr am Main Event teilnahmen.<\/p>

Der gesamte Preispool beträgt gewaltige 5.692.800 Euro und 64 Spieler werden ins Geld kommen und einen Teil davon erhalten. Der Gesamtsieger wird 1.400.000 Euro mit nach Hause nehmen. 327 Spieler überstanden Tag 1 und werden heute das Turnier wieder aufnehmen.<\/p>

Mit 144.725 Chips führt momentan Lari Sihvo das Teilnehmerfeld an. Dicht auf seinen Fersen befindet sich Pokerprofi Tommy Vedes mit 142.775 Chips.<\/p>

Alexander Kostritsyn und Chris Moorman sind zwei weitere Pros mit Top-Ten Stacks. Kostritsyn ist momentan Vierter mit 126.200 Chips und Moorman ist Siebter mit 121.775 Chips.<\/span><\/p>

Der Titelverteidiger James Bord befindet sich im Moment auf Platz 132 mit 60.000 Chips.<\/p>

Da Michael Mizrachi Tag 1B des Main Events nicht überstand, ist für Ben Lamb der Triumph im WSOP Player of the Year-Race zum Greifen nah. Shawn Buchanan ist jetzt der einzige Spieler, der Lamb noch einholen könnte. Um das zu schaffen, müsste er jedoch zunächst den Final Table erreichen und dort zudem eine gute Platzierung erzielen. Momentan befindet sich Buchanan mit 89.775 Chips auf Platz 52 des Chipcounts. Lamb selbst ist derzeit 22. mit 105.900 Chips.<\/p>

Einige weitere bekannte Spieler, die sich zur Zeit unter den ersten 10% des Teilnehmerfelds befinden, sind unter anderem Robert Mizrachi (19.), Carlos Mortensen (24.), Will Failla (25.), Chad Brown (26.), Victor Ramdin (27.) und Tony Guoga (29.).<\/p>

PokerStratege Benny 'psychobenny' Spindler liegt momentan auf Platz 106 mit 69.000 Chips.
