Vor der WSOP 2011 war der Name Andrey Pateychuk in der Pokerszene sicherlich nur einem begrenzten Kreis von Personen ein Begriff. Seitdem hat sich der Russe allerdings einen Namen gemacht. <\/p>

In diesem Jahr wurde er nicht nur 15. beim Main Event der WSOP, sondern gewann auch die EPT San Remo<\/a> und hat sich nun selbst zum allerersten Champion der WPT Prag gekrönt - es war das erste WPT-Event in Prag, das bisher größte in Europa und der erste Teil des Prager Poker-Festivals<\/a>.<\/p>

Auf seinem Weg zum jüngsten Triumph in Prag<\/a> ließ Pateychuk ein Teilnehmerfeld von 568 Spielern hinter sich. Die 450.000 Euro, die er für seinen Sieg erhält, erhöhen seine Turniergewinne im Jahr 2011 auf über $2 Millionen.<\/p>

Der bisher recht unbekannte deutsche Spieler Stanislaw Kretz, der den Final Table als Chipleader begann<\/a>, landete am Ende auf einem hervorragenden 3. Platz und erhielt dafür 158.000 Euro. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!<\/p>

Pateychuk kurz vor der Krone und im Glück<\/h2>

• Pateychuk steht kurz vor dem Gewinn der \"Triple Crown\" - <\/span><\/strong>Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass in jedem Jahr sehr viele WSOP-Bracelets vergeben werden, bedeutet der jüngste Erfolg Pateychuks, dass er bereits die schwierigsten 2\/3 auf dem Weg zur \"Triple Crown\" hinter sich hat. So wie es derzeit für ihn läuft, wäre es eine Überraschung, wenn er es in den nächsten Jahren nicht schafft, den Sack zuzumachen.<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
<\/span>
• Etwas Glück gehört dazu, Teil 1 - <\/span><\/strong>Niemand würde behaupten, Pateychuck sei ein unwürdiger Champion, aber er hat auf seinem Weg zum Triumph definitiv jede Menge Glück gehabt. Ein Opfer dieses Glücks war Stanislaw Kretz, den Pateychuk auf Platz 3 an die Rails schickte: Nachdem der Russe vom Button geraist hatte, ging Kretz im Small Blind mit 99<\/strong><\/span><\/span> All-in und Pateychuk entschloss sich, mit A6o<\/strong> zu callen. Bis zum River sah es gut aus für Kretz, dann wurde jedoch das Ass aufgedeckt und das Ausscheiden des Deutschen war besiegelt. Es sollte nicht das letzte Mal an diesem Abend gewesen sein, dass Pateychuk von seinem Glück Gebrauch machen konnte.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

• Etwas Glück gehört dazu, Teil 2<\/span><\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/strong>- Als man sich im Heads-up befand und die Blinds bei 125k\/250k\/25k lagen, erhöhte Pateychuk auf 600k, sein Gegner Adria Balaguer antwortete mit einer 3-Bet auf 1,3 Millionen. Daraufhin ging Pateychuk mit seinen restlichen 6,5 Millionen Chips All-in und Balaguer callte mit <\/span><\/span>\"Ah\"<\/span><\/span>\"Jc\". Pateychuck war mit <\/span><\/span>\"As\"<\/span><\/span>\"6c\" in großen Schwierigkeiten, aber schon der Flop (<\/span><\/span>\"Ace-D\"<\/span><\/span>\"Qc\"<\/span><\/span>\"6s\") verschaffte ihm ein Two-Pair. Auch Turn und River änderten am Ausgang der Hand nichts und so hatte Pateychuck kurz vor der finalen Hand schon den Großteil der Chips auf seiner Seite des Tisches.<\/span><\/span>

• Etwas Glück gehört dazu, Teil 3 <\/span><\/strong>- In der entscheidenden Hand hatte Balaguer per 3-Bet Pateychucks Standard-Raise mit einem All-in beantwortet, welches der Russe mit <\/span><\/span>\"Ah\"<\/span><\/span>\"5s\" callte. Mit QQ<\/strong> lag Balaguer vorne, aber erneut sorgte das Board dafür, dass sich das noch änderte: <\/span><\/span>So traf Pateychuck am River ein Wheel, sicherte sich damit den Sieg und bestätigte erneut seinen sensationellen Lauf.

Andrey Pateychuck hat das Beste aus seinem Glück gemacht und in dieser Woche ein äußerst gutes Turnier gespielt, um überhaupt den Final Table zu erreichen. Es scheint, als wären weitere Erfolge des 22-jährigen Russen nur eine Frage der Zeit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
