Zu Beginn des zweiten Turniertags der EPT Barcelona war bereits klar, dass man einen neuen Preispool- und Teilnehmerrekord für das traditionsreiche Event aufgestellt hatte.<\/p>

Insgesamt 1.082 Spieler waren ursprünglich in das Turnier gestartet. Nach Tag 2 befinden sich nun noch 209 Teilnehmer im Rennen um den Sieg. Einige sehr bekannte Namen der Szene konnten sich in der Spitze des Chipcounts platzieren.<\/p>

Was passierte an Tag 2?<\/h2>

Die Top-Stacks - <\/strong>Aktuell führt Turnierlegende John Juanda mit recht großem Vorsprung das Teilnehmerfeld an.<\/p>

Direkt auf Juandas Fersen befindet sich Online-Star Ilari Sahamies, der erst vor Kurzem den Final Table beim 50.000€ Super High Roller-Event erreichen konnte.<\/p>

Auch bekannte Spieler wie Daniel Negreanu, Jake Cody, Barry Greenstein, Sebastian 'miamivice' Ruthenberg und Marko 'infinity1000' Neumann befinden sich aktuell noch im Turnier.<\/p>

Wen verschlug es an die Rails?<\/strong> - Unter den zahlreichen Spielern, die Tag 2 des Events nicht überstanden, befanden sich natürlich auch einige bekannte Gesichter. So mussten sich unter anderem Pius Heinz, Jason Mercier, Boris Becker, Lex Veldhuis, Dominik 'aceontheriver' Nitsche und Steve O'Dwyer mit einem vorzeitigen Platz an den Rails zufriedengeben.<\/p>

Rekord-Teilnehmerfeld<\/strong> - Bereits zum neunten Mal macht die EPT Halt in Barcelona. Mit den gestarteten 1.082 Spielern wurde nun ein neuer Rekord für das Main Event aufgestellt. Das Resultat ist ein Preispool in Höhe von 5.247.700 Euro. Der Sieger wird davon stolze 1.007.550 Euro erhalten.<\/p>
