\"WSOPAlljährlich nimmt die WSOP Poker Hall of Fame ein oder zwei neue Mitglieder in ihre Reihen auf, die dann in der Pokergeschichte den Status der Unsterblichkeit erreichen. Die Siegerzeremonie findet in diesem Jahr zeitgleich mit dem Finaltisch des Main Events im Oktober statt.<\/p>

Bis Ende August habt ihr die Möglichkeit, Spieler für die Aufnahme in die diesjährige WSOP Poker Hall of Fame zu nominieren<\/a>. Die Kandidaten mit den meisten Nominierungen kommen in die engere Auswahl und stehen später der Expertenkommission und den bestehenden Mitgliedern der Hall of Fame zur Wahl.<\/p>

Bei euren Nominierungen solltet ihr jedoch die Auswahlkriterien der WSOP Poker Hall of Fame beachten:<\/p>

• Der Spieler muss gegen hochklassige Konkurrenz gespielt haben
• Sich auf den High Stakes bewiesen haben
• Zum Zeitpunkt der Nominierung mindestens 40 Jahre alt sein
• Den Respekt seiner Kollegen verdient haben
• Sich über einen langen Zeitraum bewährt haben
• Oder, als Nicht-Spieler, auf andere Art und Weise dauerhaft zum Erfolg und Wachstum des Pokerspiels beigetragen haben<\/p>

Die Geschichte der WSOP Poker Hall of Fame<\/h2>

Die WSOP Poker Hall of Fame kann auf eine lange und erfolgreiche Geschichte zurückblicken. Bei ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1979 zählten einige der größten historischen Persönlichkeiten des Pokerspiels wie \"Wild Bill\" Hickock und Johnny Moss zu den ersten Mitgliedern.<\/p>

Von den insgesamt 40 Mitgliedern sind 18 noch am Leben.
