Nach dem Main Event<\/a> und dem €25.000 High Roller-Turnier ging diese Woche beim EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo auch das €100.000 Super High Roller-Event über die Bühne.<\/p>

Insgesamt 50 Teilnehmer bezahlten das exorbitante Buy-In, um bei diesem Poker Turnier<\/a> dabei zu sein. Auch etliche deutsche Profispieler und PokerStrategen machten mit, an den Finaltisch<\/a> schaffte es aber nur Max Altergott.<\/p>

Der Heads-Up-Spezialist, der unter dem Nicknamen \"altiFC\" bekannt ist, spielt normalerweise an den High Stakes-Tischen im Internet. Bei Live-Events gelang ihm bislang laut Hendon Mob noch kein Cash.<\/p>

Der 22-Jährige nahm genau so wie Jason Mercier, Vladimir Troyanovski, Sorel Mizzi, Timothy Adams, Scott Seiver und Mike Watson Platz am Final Table.\"\"<\/p>

Für Seiver gab es direkt zu Beginn einen Rückschlag, als er mit 7-7<\/strong> gegen K-J<\/strong> von Mike Watson unterlag. Dennoch musste der US-Amerikaner nicht als erster Spieler an die Rails: Der Kanadier Watson hatte preflop mit K-Q<\/strong> gepusht und wurde von Sorel Mizzi gecallt, der Asse zeigte. Das Board brachte Watson keine Hilfe und er war auf Platz 7 ausgeschieden.<\/p>

Anschließend erwischte es dann doch Scott Seiver, der mit 9-9 <\/strong>gegen A-Q<\/strong> von Jason Mercier unterlag, da der Team PokerStars Pro den Flush bekam. Etwas später konnte Max dann aufdoppeln, als er mit A-J <\/strong>gegen A-3<\/strong> von Mercier gewann. <\/p>

Der nächste Teilnehmer, der den Final Table verlassen musste, war Vladimir Troyanovsky: Mit K-Q<\/strong> hatte er keine Chance gegen A-J <\/strong>von Sorel Mizzi. Dann war für Timothy Adams Feierabend, der es mit 9-9 <\/strong>gegen A-8<\/strong> von Max probierte. <\/p>

Das Board brachte 7-7-4-A-4<\/strong> und damit waren nur noch drei Spieler dabei. Max Altergott lag mit 4,9 Millionen Chips knapp vor Jason Mercier, der 4,4 Millionen Chips hatte. Sorel Mizzi hatte bei Blinds von 50.000\/100.000 (Ante: 10.000) und 3,3 Millionen Chips aber auch noch genügend Spielraum.<\/p>

Max sorgte dann für den Bustout von Sorel Mizzi: Preflop gingen die Chips in die Mitte und während der Kanadier K-Q<\/strong> zeigte, drehte der deutsche High Roller J-J<\/strong> um. Das 4-4-8-3-J<\/strong> Board brachte ihm sogar noch das Full House. <\/p>

Im Heads-Up standen sich also Max Altergott und Jason Mercier gegenüber. Die Entscheidung fiel auf einem 8-7-J-4<\/strong> (zwei Karo) Board, als Mercier mit K-7<\/strong> in Karo gegen Q-Q<\/strong> von Max antrat. Der River brachte mit der 2<\/strong> in Kreuz eine Blank und Altergott schnappte sich einen Mega-Pot.<\/p>

Die restlichen Chips des US-Amerikaners wanderten dann mit 10-6<\/strong> in die Mitte, Max callte mit J-9<\/strong> und war nach dem 6-5-K-7-8 <\/strong>Board der Sieger des Super High Roller-Events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
