\"\"Mehr als ein Jahrzehnt lang hat Microsoft für Windows XP Support und Updates geliefert, nun wird man seine Ressourcen in die Unterstützung von neueren Technologien stecken.<\/p>

Entsprechend steht ab dem 8. April 2014<\/strong> technischer Support beim Betriebssystem Windows XP nicht mehr länger zur Verfügung, darunter auch die essenziellen Updates, die dabei helfen, den eigenen PC zu schützen<\/strong>.<\/p>

Wenn ihr XP nach dem Stichtag weiterhin nutzt, wird euer Computer zwar noch funktionieren, allerdings steigt dessen Anfälligkeit für Sicherheitslücken und Viren<\/strong> deutlich.<\/p>

Pokerspieler sind besonders gefährdet<\/h2>

\"\"Das Internet hat bei all seinem Nutzen auch seine Gefahren. Cyberkriminelle verbreiten jeden Tag Schadsoftware und schon das Öffnen einer infizierten E-Mail kann euren PC infizieren.<\/p>

Da Windows XP mittlerweile so alt ist, haben die Entwickler von schädlicher Software auch viel Zeit gehabt, um genau dieses Betriebssystem anzuvisieren. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Viren<\/strong>, die insbesondere dafür entwickelt wurden, um Windows XP zu kompromittieren. <\/p>

Folglich kann das Verwenden von Windows XP auf einem Computer, der an das Internet angeschlossen ist und der für finanzielle Transaktionen (wie zum Beispiel beim Online-Poker<\/strong>) verwendet wird, ein sehr hohes Sicherheitsrisiko darstellen.<\/p>

Wenn ihr also auch nach dem Supportende für Windows XP weiterhin das alte Betriebssystem für Online-Poker verwendet, macht euch bewusst, dass sensible Informationen, die auf eurem Computer gespeichert sind, gefährdet sein können.<\/p>
