Alexander \"joiso\" Kostritsyn<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Der russische Profi Alexander \"joiso\" Kostritsyn hatte im letzten Monat am meisten Grund zur Freude: Mit einem Profit von 740.796 US-Dollar auf PokerStars schraubte er seinen Jahresgewinn über die Marke von einer Million US-Dollar.<\/p>

Der deutsche Profi 'SanIker' schrammte nur knapp an der Millionenmarke vorbei - allerdings handelte es sich bei ihm um Verlust. Mit einem Minus von 990.130 US-Dollar war er der größte Verlierer im Oktober.<\/p>

'Punting-Peddler' und Daniel Cates hingegen setzten ihr hervorragend laufendes Jahr fort, auch wenn sie nur recht kleine Gewinne einfahren konnten.<\/p>

Die Games sind trockener geworden<\/h2>

Die vielleicht interessantere Geschichte in diesem Monat war jedoch wohl die dramatische Veränderung der High-Stakes-Szene im Internet, seit Gus Hansen zu spielen aufgehört hat.<\/p>

Auch wenn Kostritsyn und Sanlker beide beinahe siebenstellige Swings erlebten, sind die anderen größten Gewinne und Verluste deutlich moderater ausgefallen als in den vergangenen Monaten. Nur vier andere Spieler hatten überhaupt sechsstellige Gewinne (alle liegen dabei unter $300.000) und nur ein weiterer Spieler musste einen sechsstelligen Verlust hinnehmen. Im September verzeichneten noch zwölf Spieler sechsstellige Gewinne, sechs mussten sechsstellige Verluste hinnehmen.<\/p>

Die weitere große Veränderung zum Vormonat war die, dass die High-Stakes-Games hauptsächlich bei PokerStars stattfanden. Zuvor waren sie noch fast ausschließlich bei Full Tilt.<\/p>

Bei noch zwei verbleibenden Monaten in diesem Jahr sieht es ganz danach aus, als wenn Daniel Cates von niemandem mehr eingeholt werden könnte. Er ist auf Full Tilt $2.807.509 sowie auf PokerStars $374.979 in 2014 im Plus.<\/p>

Wer der größte Verlierer ist, wissen wir auch alle: Gus Hansen ist in diesem Jahr bislang $5.222.853 down. Die große Frage lautet daher: Wird er an die Tische zurückkehren?<\/p>

Die größte Überraschung des Jahres könnte bislang jedoch die Fortsetzung von Phil Iveys Downswing sein. Er ist 2014 bislang $2.501.002 im Minus.<\/p>
