Der zurzeit größte Wettanbieter in GB hätte so die Möglichkeit seine Marktposition mit der Ergänzung seines Sportwettenangebots durch das Online-Casino- und Pokerangebot von 888 weiter zu stärken.<\/p>

Analysten legen außerdem nahe, dass William Hill sein Augenmerk auf die starke Präsenz von 888 in Italien und Spanien gelegt hat. So könnte man neue Kunden akquirieren und das Wachstum ankurbeln, nachdem man aufgrund der neuen Steuerregulierungen für Buchmacher durch die Regierung einen Tiefpunkt erreichte.<\/p>

Nachdem das Interesse am Dienstag bekannt wurde, stieg die 888-Aktie um massive 18.6% auf 172p - ein 52-Wochen-Hoch. Trotz dieser Spitze wird der Gesamtmarktwert auf rund 15% weniger als das £700-Millionen-Angebot von William Hill geschätzt.<\/p>
