Jason, du hast in diesem Jahr ganze drei SCOOP-Events gewonnen<\/a>, noch dazu in drei verschiedenen Formaten. Hast du mit Blick auf die WSOP speziell an deinen Mixed Games gearbeitet?<\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>Ich habe schon seit fünf Jahren oder so regelmäßig Mixed Games gespielt. Ich würde auf jeden Fall sagen, dass ich einen guten Lauf habe. Aber ich gehöre wohl in vielen Turnierfeldern zu den großen Favoriten.<\/p>

Ist die SCOOP die perfekte Vorbereitung auf die WSOP?<\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>Definitiv, besonders für Spieler, die bei der WSOP alle 10k Mixed Events spielen wollen. Während der SCOOP kann man praktisch alle Pokervarianten trainieren, die auch bei der WSOP angeboten werden.<\/p>

Ist es dein großes Ziel, in diesem Jahr ein non-Hold'em-Bracelet zu gewinnen? Immerhin sind hier die Felder kleiner und die Skill-Unterschiede größer.<\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>Ich gehe eigentlich in jedes Turnier mit dem Plan, dieses auch zu gewinnen. Insgesamt habe ich wohl in den letzten Jahren mehr und mehr Mixed Games gespielt und weniger NLH. Aber ich würde mich natürlich über jedes Bracelet freuen, unabhängig vom Format.<\/p>

Die SCOOP-High-Events haben kleine Felder und sind voll von bekannten Gesichtern. Ähneln sie in dieser Hinsicht Live-Turnieren?<\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>In gewissem Maße schon. In einem Medium-Event kennt man sicherlich nie jeden Spieler an seinem Tisch.<\/p>

Wenn man die großen Skill-Unterschiede bei den Mixed Games berücksichtigt, ist dann das Verständnis des Formats wichtiger oder bis du eher abhängig von Reads auf die anderen Spieler?<\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>Das ist ein Mix aus beidem. Du musst das Format durchdrungen haben, aber Reads über die Spielweise deiner Gegner sind in diesen Turniertypen ebenfalls sehr wichtig.<\/p>

Welche Fehler fallen dir bei No-Limit-Turnierspielern am häufigsten in Mixed-Games-Turnieren auf?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>No-Limit-Spieler sind in der Regel wirklich schlecht in Stud Games. Bevor ich nicht vom Gegenteil überzeugt werde, gehe ich mittlerweile davon aus, dass jeder No-Limit-Spieler mit nur geringer Mixed-Erfahrung eine Stud-Katastrophe ist.<\/p>

In welchem Format würdest abseits der Players Championship am liebsten ein Bracelet gewinnen?<\/strong><\/p>

Jason Mercier: <\/strong>Ich glaube am schönsten wäre ein Sieg im 25k PLO, weil zum ersten Mal überhaupt ein PLO-Event veranstaltet wird, das ein Buy-in von mehr als 10k hat. Ansonsten wäre auch das 10k Dealers Choice Event absolut ok für mich.<\/p>
