Jason Somerville hat ein weiteres Mal gezeigt, dass er derzeit der Profispieler mit dem größten Wert für seinen Sponsor ist. Gestern Nacht glänzte er wieder mit seinem Stream bei Twitch.<\/p>

Er schaffte es dabei vor einem Rekordpublikum von gleichzeitig 37.000 Zuschauern<\/strong> an den Final Table des $700 Progressive Super Knockout WCOOP<\/strong> Event.<\/strong><\/p>

Damit übertraf er seinen alten Rekord von 22.000 Zuschauern deutlich<\/a>, den er beim Erreichen des Final Table vom Super Tuesday in diesem Jahr aufgestellt hatte. Während er spielte, war sein Stream auch der meistgeschaute auf Twitch zu diesem Zeitpunkt.<\/p>

Somerville gewann das Event zwar nicht, dies gelang Showtime43<\/em>. Er erhielt für seinen Sieg $98.048,91 + $28.470,05 an Bountys. Somerville wurde Sechster und erhielt dafür $22.673,50 + $15.666.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Das sind natürlich tolle Neuigkeiten für das Spiel selbst, Somerville, PokerStars und Twitch: Poker wird weiterhin einem neuen, wachsenden Publikum präsentiert. Der Trend ist seit einiger Zeit bekannt und wird entsprechend genutzt: In einem Interview mit PokerStrategy.com gab Matthew Hilger letzten Monat sogar an, dass der diesjährige WCOOP-Zeitplan so optimiert wurde<\/a>, dass die Finaltische zu Zeiten ausgetragen werden, in denen die meisten Menschen Twitch schauen.<\/p>

Wenn die Zuschauerzahlen schon zu Beginn der WCOOP derart hoch sind, könnte das $51.000 Super High Roller Event<\/a> am nächsten Wochenende einen weiteren Twitch-Rekord bescheren.<\/p>
