Die größte Online-Turnierserie des Jahres fand mit dem $5.000 WCOOP Main Event einen angemessenen Höhepunkt.<\/p>

1.772 Entrys und 319 Re-Entrys sorgten dafür, dass der garantierte Preispool von $10 Millionen und der Hauptpreis von $1,5 Millionen<\/strong> locker erreicht wurden.<\/p>

Zum großen Teil bestand der Final Table des Turniers aus eher unbekannten Spielern, aus deutscher Sicht schaffte es jedoch auch Jonas Lauck<\/strong> ins Finale. Als noch vier Spieler verblieben, wurde über einen Deal verhandelt, jedoch bestand Lauck dabei auf mehr Geld, als ihm zu diesem Zeitpunkt laut ICM zustand. Mit 40 Millionen Chips im Vergleich zu jeweils 20 Millionen bei seinen Konkurrenten sah er sich selbst deutlich im Vorteil.<\/p>

Auf einen besseren Deal zu bestehen sollte sich in der Folge als glücklicher Schachzug erweisen: Die Verhandlungen scheiterten zwar und ein Deal kam nicht zustande, jedoch schaffte es 'jonaslauck<\/span>' anschließend das Event zu gewinnen und erhielt damit den vollen Hauptpreis von $1.517.541.<\/strong><\/p>

Manig Loeser gewinnt Mini WCOOP<\/h2>

Der Triumph von Jonas Lauck war beim Höhepunkt der WCOOP nicht der einzige aus deutscher Sicht. Auch das Mini WCOOP Main Event mit einem vergleichsweise günstigen Buy-in von $50 stand am Sonntag an.<\/p>

Hier kamen insgesamt 21.356 Entrys zustande und am Ende sollte sich PokerStratege Manig 'swordfish007<\/span>' Loeser gegen die anderen Mitstreiter behaupten und den Hauptpreis von $83.390 gewinnen.<\/strong><\/p>

Loeser ist wahrlich kein Unbekannter und konnte bereits bei Live- und Online-Turnieren zahlreiche Erfolge feiern. Normalerweise sind für ihn auch eher vier- bis fünfstellige Buy-ins die Tagesordnung, was den Erfolg bei einem derart großen Turnier jedoch nicht minder beeindruckend macht.<\/p>
