Im vergangenen Jahr haben die ehemaligen Full-Tilt-Eigner Chris Ferguson und Howard Lederer<\/strong> für Ärger innerhalb der Pokercommunity gesorgt, nachdem sie bei der World Series of Poker nach Jahren wieder an die Tische zurückgekehrt sind. In diesem Jahr sorgten sie durch die gemeinsame Teilnahme am Tag-Team-Event<\/a> für weiteres Aufsehen.<\/p>

Ferguson konnte bereits im letzten Jahr eine ziemlich erfolgreiche WSOP spielen. Zehnmal hatte er es in die Preisränge geschafft und erreichte beim $10.000 Six Max sogar den Final Table<\/a> (zum Unmut seiner Kontrahenten). In diesem Jahr läuft es für \"Jesus\" sogar noch besser.<\/p>

Vor wenigen Stunden hat er Platz 4 bei der $10.000 Pot Limit Omaha Hi\/Lo Championship für $150.929 geholt, was ihn auf den zweiten Platz beim \"Player of the Year\"-Race katapultiert <\/strong>hat. Mit 599,44 Punkten im Vergleich zu den 614,82 vom aktuell Führenden Raymond Henson hat Ferguson nun sogar gute Aussichten Platz 1 zu erreichen.<\/p>

Das neue Wertungssystem beim POY-Race der WSOP ist bereits umstritten<\/a>. Sollte es tatsächlich auch noch eine der am meisten verachtetsten Personen der Szene gewinnen, dürften es die Story des Jahres werden.<\/p>

Mit bisher 12 Cashes in diesem Jahr ist Ferguson zu allem Überfluss auch noch drauf und dran den WSOP-Rekord (aktuell 13 Cashes) zu brechen.<\/strong> Insgesamt $214.988 hat Ferguson bei der Turnierserie in diesem Jahr gewonnen.<\/p>
