Im Gegensatz zum Erstgenannten geh&ouml;rt Chris Moneymaker aber zweifellos dort hin.<\/p><p>Als er 2016 zum ersten Mal f&uuml;r eine Aufnahme in Frage kam, ging man in der Pokerszene davon aus, dass es eine sichere Sache sei. Immerhin handelt es sich um den Mann, der mit seinem WSOP-Erfolg 2003 als Amateurspieler den weltweiten Pokerboom ausgel&ouml;st hat, gemeinhin bekannt als Moneymaker-Effekt.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Drei Hall-of-Fame-Zeremonien sp&auml;ter ist Chris Moneymaker aber immer noch nicht die Ehre zuteil geworden. Der Grund daf&uuml;r muss in den Kriterien zu finden sein, die sich wie folgt lesen:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Ein Spieler muss gegen anerkannte Top-Konkurrenz gespielt haben<\/li>\n<li>Zum Zeitpunkt der Nominierung mindestens 40 Jahre alt sein<\/li>\n<li>Um hohe Stakes gespielt haben<\/li>\n<li>Best&auml;ndig gut gespielt und den Respekt von Mitspielern errungen haben<\/li>\n<li>Den Test der Zeit bestanden haben<\/li>\n<li>Oder im Falle von Nicht-Spielern nachhaltig zum Wachstum und Erfolg des Spiels beigetragen haben<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>Er hat zwar wohl den wichtigsten Main-Event-Sieg aller Zeiten eingefahren, <strong>Moneymaker konnte den Erfolg aber nicht in dem Ausma&szlig; best&auml;tigen<\/strong> wie die meisten anderen Spieler, die es in den engeren Kandidatenkreis f&uuml;r die Hall of Fame geschafft haben. Konstant gute Leistungen sind in einem varianzlastigen Spiel wie Poker immerhin sehr wichtig.&nbsp;<\/p><h2>Zum Wachstum des Spiels beigetragen<\/h2><p>Auf Leistung an den Tischen beschr&auml;nkt, macht das Ausbleiben einer Aufnahme Sinn. Aber man kann argumentieren, dass <strong>Chris Moneymaker unter den falschen Kriterien beurteilt<\/strong> wird. Stattdessen k&ouml;nnte man sich in seinem Fall auch auf das folgende beschr&auml;nken:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Oder im Falle von Nicht-Spielern nachhaltig zum Wachstum und Erfolg des Spiels beigetragen haben.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>Es mag auf den ersten Blick zwar unh&ouml;flich wirken, wenn man ihn als Nicht-Spieler betrachtet, aber wie viele Menschen, die f&uuml;r dieses Kriterium in Frage kommen, sind denn tats&auml;chlich Nicht-Spieler? Mori Eskandani, Jack McClelland, Eric Drache und Linda Johnson wurden allesamt vor Kurzem in die Hall of Fame in der Nicht-Spieler-Kategorie aufgenommen, sie alle lassen sich aber auch an den Tischen blicken. Chris Moneymaker hat eine entscheidende Rolle beim Wachstum des Spiels gespielt, nicht als langj&auml;hrig erfolgreicher Spieler, sondern als <strong>einer der wichtigsten Botschafter des Spiels, die wir je hatten.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"youtube\"><\/div><p>Ja, es war gl&uuml;cklich, dass er das Main Event gewinnen konnte. Ja, es war gl&uuml;cklich, dass ihm der Triumph genau zu einer Zeit gelang, als Poker kurz vor dem Durchbruch stand. Ja, es war gl&uuml;cklich, dass er solch einen wunderbar vermarktbaren Nachnamen tr&auml;gt. Und ja, es war gl&uuml;cklich, dass er sich im Vorfeld des Siegs nur versehentlich f&uuml;r das ber&uuml;chtigte WSOP-Satellite angemeldet hat, das er eigentlich f&uuml;r ein Freezeout hielt. Es war ein klassischer Fall von \"Zur rechten Zeit am rechten Ort\". Was er jedoch nach seinem Erfolg geleistet hat, sollte ihm eine Aufnahme einbringen.<\/p><p>Seit seinem Sieg vor sechzehn Jahren war Chris Moneymaker &uuml;ber all die Jahre stets ein vorbildlicher Botschafter f&uuml;r Poker. Er verh&auml;lt sich gro&szlig;artig gegen&uuml;ber den Fans, gro&szlig;artig gegen&uuml;ber den Medien und hat sich immer bescheiden und dankbar gezeigt. Viele Amateurspieler h&auml;tten das WSOP Main Event 2003 gewinnen und die ganze Welt auf Poker aufmerksam machen k&ouml;nnen. <strong>Aber was Chris Moneymaker in den letzten 16 Jahren daraus gemacht hat, geb&uuml;hrt jede Anerkennung und Ehre<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p><p><em>Sollte man Chris Moneymaker in die Poker Hall of Fame aufnehmen?
