Morgan Stanley sieht in Online-Poker ein risikoreicheres Investment<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Morgan Stanley hat die finanzwirtschaftliche Bewertung der Pokeranbieter <\/a>GVC Holdings, Playtech und der Stars Group herabgesetzt. Grund dafür ist, dass man eine Gefahr für Online-Poker durch die Weiterentwicklung Künstlicher Intelligenz<\/strong> sieht.<\/p>

Analyst Ed Young hat dabei die jüngsten Fortschritte bei der KI der Carnegie Mellon University angeführt, mit denen Eliteprofis im Heads-up und beim 6-max Hold'em geschlagen werden konnten.<\/p>

Die Kursziele für die GVC Holdings (partypoker) wurden um 2% und die von Playtech (iPoker) um 4% verringert. Bei der Stars Group geht man von einem korrigierten Kursziel von $17 anstatt $18 aus. Die 888Holdings (888poker) als ebenfalls öffentlich notiertes Börsenunternehmen wurde im Bericht nicht genannt.<\/p>

Zum jüngsten 6-max-Erfolg der KI Pluribus<\/a> gegen Spieler wie Linus Loeliger, Darren Elias und Chris Ferguson erläuterte Young, dass der Code der KI nicht veröffentlicht wurde, weil er einen ernsthaften Einfluss auf die Integrität von Poker haben kann<\/strong>. Die Kosten, um Pluribus auf einem normalen PC per Cloud Computing zu betreiben, lagen bei lediglich $144.<\/p>

Bereits 2017 konnte man bei der Carnegie Mellon University einen schlagzeilenträchtigen Erfolg einfahren, als man mit der KI Libratus<\/a> vier gestandene Top-Spieler im Heads-up schlagen konnte. Der damalige Triumph der Maschine über den Menschen hatte für etliche Berichte auf der ganzen Welt gesorgt, weil es der erste Fall war, bei dem man eine Allgemeine Künstliche Intelligenz programmieren konnte<\/a>. Für viele Experten war dieses Novum sogar noch bedeutender als der Sieg der KI Deep Blue gegen Schachweltmeister Gary Kasparov im Jahr 1997.<\/p>

Von außerhalb betrachtet mag die Entwicklung mit Blick auf die Zukunftsträchtigkeit von Online-Poker tatsächlich schockierend wirken. Die Gefahr für die Integrität der Spiele, die Bots und Künstliche Intelligenz mit sich bringen, ist jedoch seit etlichen Jahren bereits bei Spielern und Anbietern im Fokus. Nichtsdestotrotz wird man bei der rasanten Entwicklung im Bereich Künstlicher Intelligenz wohl in Zukunft einen radikaleren Ansatz verfolgen müssen, um sicherzustellen, dass auch online nach wie vor Mensch gegen Mensch ohne Hilfsmittel spielt.<\/p>
