Vergangenes Jahr hat man mit der Jubiläumsausgabe der Sunday Million eins der größten Online-Turniere der Pokergeschichte<\/a> auf die Beine gestellt. Mit Spannung wird also die diesjährige Ausgabe erwartet.<\/p>

Angesetzt wurde der Start des Turniers nun für den 21. März und ein Preispool von $12,5 Millionen<\/strong> wird bei einem Buy-in von $215 garantiert. Das Turnier wird sich über drei Tage erstrecken und neben 5 möglichen Re-Entrys pro Spieler wird auch die Late Reg bis zum Start des zweiten Turniertags<\/strong> am Montag, den 22. März möglich sein.<\/p>

2020 hatte man beim Sunday-Million-Jubiläum insgesamt 93.016 Entrys verbuchen können, was einen enormen Preispool von $18.603.200 zur Folge hatte. Der letztliche Gewinner AAAArthur aus Brasilien verwandelte dabei ein $4-Satellite in einen Gewinn von $1.192.802<\/a>, nachdem sich die letzten vier Spieler im Finale auf einen Deal geeinigt hatten. Es war die größte Sunday Million der Pokergeschichte.<\/p>

Es besteht kein Zweifel daran, dass die enorme Teilnehmerzahl damals auch auf den ersten Lockdown zurückzuführen ist, der die Welt nach Ausbruch der Corona-Pandemie ereilte. Auch wenn die Aussichten nun nicht mehr ganz so düster sind für dieses Jahr, befinden sich viele Teile der Welt nach wie vor in einem erneuten Lockdown, was die Spielerzahlen im März ähnlich nach oben treiben könnte.<\/p>
