Häufig drehen sich bei der Jubiläumsausgabe der Sunday Million die Schlagzeilen vor allem um die Teilnehmerzahl (68.876 bei der jüngsten Ausgabe), hin und wieder kommt jedoch auch ein Sieger zustande, der allen die Show stiehlt.<\/p>

Vanessa Kade war bereits eine bekannte Streamerin, im vergangenen Jahr ging es für sie aber unmittelbar ins Rampenlicht, als Dan Bilzerian nach Bekanntgabe seines Sponsorendeals<\/a> mit GGPoker die gute Dame als \"Hoe\" bezeichnen musste und damit umgehend bestätigte, warum der Großteil der Pokerszene seine Anstellung als \"Markenbotschafter\" mehr als skeptisch sieht<\/a>.<\/p>

Kade hat das Beste aus dem Vorfall gemacht und die nächsten Monate damit verbracht, Sexismus in der Pokerszene ins Rampenlicht zu rücken. Derweil konnte sie in diesem Monat verlauten lassen, dass sie fortan für Americas Card Room (das neue Zuhause von Chris Moneymaker) die Werbetrommeln rühren wird.<\/p>

Es liegen also ereignisreiche drei Monate hinter Kade, die sicherlich nicht immer einfach waren, die nun jedoch mit einem Märchenende belohnt wurden: In der vergangenen Nacht konnte sie das Sunday-Million-Jubiläum für einen Hauptpreis von $1.514.920 gewinnen.<\/p>

Ein Erfolg mit Kultstatus<\/h2>

Wer den Final Table verfolgt hat, wird einen spannenden Verlauf aus Kades Perspektive gesehen haben, bei dem sie sich mit einem Microstack bis zum ultimativen Triumph vorkämpfen konnte. Auf dem Weg dahin hat sie derweil ganze Klasse bewiesen und ihre Timebank genutzt, um dem Chipleader nach einem Verbindungsabbruch die Chance zu geben, ohne Nachteil wieder in die Partie einzusteigen.<\/p>

Am Final Table kam letztlich kein Deal zustande, was selten der Fall bei der Sunday Million und vor allem den Jubiläumsausgaben ist, womit Kades Gewinn nun der größte Hauptpreis ist, der jemals bei der Sunday Million gewonnen wurde<\/strong>.<\/p>

Was folgt nun als nächstes für sie? Vermutlich ein Platz ganz vorne bei den bekanntesten Gesichtern der Pokerszene. Auch angesichts der Vorgeschichte dürfte der Sieg ähnlich wie die Erfolge von Moneymaker, maratik, Maria Konnikova und Annette Obrestad als Triumph in die Geschichte eingehen, der Kultstatus erreichen wird.<\/p>

Die Ironie, dass Dan Bilzerians berüchtigter Tweet mit dafür gesorgt hat, dass Vanessa Kade nun zu den bekanntesten Gesichtern in Sachen Poker gehören wird, ist natürlich köstlich...<\/p>
