Reichlich kontroverse Tage liegen hinter der World Series of Poker, nachdem man zunächst eine Impfpflicht für Spieler bekannt gegeben<\/a> hat, dann aber auch durchgesickert ist, dass die WSOP-Mitarbeiter wie Dealer einer solchen Impfpflicht nicht unterliegen<\/a>, obwohl sie bei der Turnierserie deutlich mehr Kontakte haben werden.<\/p>

Gute Nachrichten gab es aber immerhin vom seit vergangenem Jahr engagierten Online-Partner GGPoker, wo in diesem Jahr nicht nur die offiziellen Satellites für das WSOP Main Event angeboten werden, sondern nun auch die Möglichkeit, sich mit $10.000 direkt online in das WSOP Main Event einzukaufen.<\/p>

Die World Series of Poker ist mitunter berüchtigt für lange Warteschlangen<\/strong>, wenn es um die Registrierung zu den großen Turnieren geht. So mussten 2009 sogar Spieler am vierten Starttage abgewiesen werden, weil man schlichtweg nicht die hohe Anzahl an teilnahmefreudigen Spielern stemmen konnte.

Nun kann man sich für das größte aller in Las Vegas ausgetragenen Turniere jedoch bereits in den eigenen vier Wänden registrieren, noch bevor man die Reisestrapazen auf sich nimmt. Spieler, die die Möglichkeit des direkten Buy-ins bei GGPoker nutzen, werden im Nachgang von einem Mitarbeiter kontaktiert, der unter anderem den gewünschten Starttag beim WSOP Main Event entgegennimmt.<\/p>

Zum Zeitpunkt des Schreibens haben sich bereits 67 Spieler bei GGPoker für das WSOP Main Event qualifiziert und einer hat tatsächlich die neue Option genutzt und sich direkt das WSOP Main Event eingekauft.<\/p>

Das direkte Buy-in umfasst dabei jedoch nur die $10.000 für das Buy-in selbst. Ein Komplettpaket samt Unterbringung, wie es die Satellite-Qualifikanten bei GGPoker im Wert von $12.500 erhalten, kann nicht direkt gekauft werden.<\/p>

Derweil hat man auch bei 888poker inoffizielle Satellites für die WSOP in diesem Jahr gelauncht, nachdem man zuvor jahrelanger offizieller Partner der WSOP für Spieler außerhalb der USA war.<\/p>
