Insgesamt 6.650 Spieler waren Anfang November in das WSOP Main Event gestartet, mittlerweile sind nur noch drei Spieler verblieben – und einmal mehr befindet sich ein Spieler aus Deutschland unter den letzten drei.<\/p>\n

Nach dem Start des Final Tables in der vergangenen Nacht hat man sieben Stunden lang gespielt, bis die letzten drei Anwärter auf den Sieg beim WSOP Main Event und den satten Hauptpreis von $8.000.000 feststanden.<\/p>\n

Der gebürtige Berliner Koray Aldemir<\/strong> war dabei als überragender Chipleader in den Tag gestartet, konnte seine Führung einmal mehr behaupten und wird nun auch das großen Finale in der kommenden Nacht mit einem großen Vorsprung gegenüber den beiden verbliebenen Kontrahenten in Angriff nehmen.<\/p>\n

Eigentlich war vorgesehen, dass man den Turniertag bereits bei nur noch vier verbliebenen Spielern beenden würde. Als eben jene vier Spieler feststanden, wurden seitens der WSOP jedoch kurzfristig entschieden, dass in der Nacht noch für kurze Zeit weitergespielt wird – und wie es der Zufall so will, kam es kurz darauf zu einer actiongeladenen Hand, die uns beinahe nur noch zwei Spieler für das große Finale in der kommenden Nacht bescherte.<\/p>\n

Fast direkt ins Heads-up<\/h2>\n

Dabei schob der Brite Jack Oliver seine letzten 13 Big Blinds vom Cutoff mit J<\/span>9<\/span> in die Mitte und auch Joshua Remitio aus den USA ging mit A<\/span>J<\/span> und seinen letzten 17BB im Small Blind All-in. Im Big Blind lauerte jedoch Aldemir mit Q<\/span>Q<\/span> und hätte der River Oliver nicht den Flush und Remitio den kleineren Sidepot mit einer Straight beschert, hätten sich beide aus dem Turnier verabschiedet und das finale Heads-up stünde bereits fest. Stattdessen verabschiedete sich Remitio direkt in der nächsten Hand aus dem Turnier und der Tag wurde beendet.<\/p>\n

Zwischen Aldemir und dem dritten Weltmeister-Titel für Deutschland stehen nun noch der genannte Jack Oliver<\/strong> aus Großbritannien und Hobbyspieler George Holmes<\/strong> aus den USA. Alle drei Kontrahenten haben bereits $3.000.000 sicher, wer es aber so weit schafft, wird wohl zweifellos nun auch den Hauptpreis abräumen wollen, der noch einmal mehr als doppelt so hoch ausfällt.<\/p>\n

Das gilt natürlich vor allem für den eindeutig stärksten Spieler am Tisch Koray Aldemir, der neben seiner langjährigen Highroller-Erfahrung gegen die Weltelite zudem auf einen nach wie vor sehr deutlichen Vorsprung in Chips blicken kann. Es wäre der mittlerweile dritte WM-Titel für Deutschland innerhalb der letzten zehn Jahre<\/strong> und durchaus eine Überraschung, wenn der ganze große Wurf trotz der klaren Überlegenheit Aldemirs nicht gelingen sollte.<\/p>\n

Am Ende ist es jedoch Poker und wie wir alle nur zu gut wissen, ist dabei alles möglich. Wir drücken also fleißig weiter die Daumen, wenn in der kommenden Nacht ab 00:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit<\/strong> die Entscheidung ansteht.
