Der Final Table am vergangenen Abend<\/figcaption><\/figure>

Es gab eine Zeit, da wurde ein Doppelerfolg bei der EPT aufgrund der Stärke der Konkurrenz als praktisch unmögliches Unterfangen gesehen, nun hat der schwedische Online-Pro 'WhatIfGod' das Kunststück jedoch beim selben Turnier sogar in direkter Abfolge zustande gebracht.<\/p>

Im vergangenen Winter wurde die EPT aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie bereits an die virtuellen Tische verlagert und 'WhatIfGod' schnappte sich den Sieg beim Main Event für ein Preisgeld von mehr als $1 Million<\/a>. Nun sprang bei genau demselben Event nur ein Jahr später abermals der Sieg für den Schweden heraus.<\/p>

Dieses Mal hat er sich dabei gegen ein Feld von 401 Spielern durchgesetzt, darunter ein Final Table, bei dem auch bencb<\/a>, Christoph Rudolph, Daniel Dvoress und PSPC-Sieger Roman Colillas mitmischten. Als Preisgeld gab es dafür $363.640.<\/p>

'WhatIfGod' ist damit der erst dritte Spieler der Geschichte, der zweimal ein EPT Main Event für sich entscheiden konnte. Zuvor war das lediglich Vicky Coren-Mitchell und Mikalai Pobal<\/strong> gelungen, in diesen Fällen aber auch an den Live-Tischen.<\/p>
