Das erste Event der European Poker Tour in den letzten zwei Jahren war ein voller Erfolg. Man konnte mehrere Teilnehmerrekorde bei den Nebenturnieren aufstellen und auch beim Main Event kamen eindrucksvolle 1.190 Entrys zusammen.<\/p>

Darüber hinaus hatte das Main Event auch einen Traum aller Spieler zu bieten: Grzegorz Glowny konnte sich per €530-Satellite für das Hauptturnier qualifizieren<\/strong> und im Anschluss tatsächlich zum EPT-Champion krönen für einen Hauptpreis von €692.252.<\/p>

Eigentlich wäre das Preisgeld für Platz 1 noch deutlich größer ausgefallen, aber als noch vier Spieler im Turnier verblieben, hatte man sich auf einen Deal geeinigt, der Glowny den Löwenanteil am offenen Preispool zusicherte. Im Anschluss wurde ausgespielt, wer die Trophäe und weitere €110.796 gewinnen würde.<\/p>

Und wie es vielleicht der Fall für einige neue Spieler nach zwei Jahren Pandemie sein wird: Es war tatsächlich Glownys erster Ausflug zu einem Live-Pokerevent und beim Main Event sowie in einem Nebenturnier bei der EPT Prag konnte er seine ersten Preisgelder überhaupt einfahren. Es dürften nicht die letzten gewesen sein...<\/p>
