Im Zuge des Aufruhrs um den berüchtigten Call mit Jack-High<\/a> hat ein bekannter Live-Pokerstream reagiert und das Übertragungsformat geändert. Während das vom Skandal betroffene Hustler Casino den Garrett Super Scanner V als neue Sicherheitsmaßnahme<\/a> beim Einlass einführte, haben sich die Macher des Streams \"Live at the Bike\" für eine Übertragung ohne Holecards entschieden.<\/p>

So konnten die Zuschauer lediglich am Ende einer Hand einen Blick auf die Startkarten werfen, die als letztes noch in der Hand waren. Der Stream wurde dafür aber ohne Verzögerung gezeigt und Spieler sowie Moderator am Tisch interagierten in Echtzeit mit den Zuschauern über den immer wieder eingeblendeten Live-Chat<\/strong>:<\/p>

Das Ausblenden von Holecards hilft natürlich gegen potenziellen Betrug, da keinerlei Informationen über die Startkarten an die Kommentatoren-Box übertragen werden und so keine unmittelbare Hilfe eines Komplizen ermöglicht wird. Als vermutlich direkten Seitenhieb gegen die Konkurrenz vom Hustler-Stream wurde der LATB-Stream auch mit dem Prädikat \"No Cheating\" versehen, auch wenn die Macher erklärten, dass das Format schon deutlich vor dem J4o-Skandal geplant wurde.<\/p>

Als sonderlich beliebt beim Zuschauer erwies sich das Special dennoch nicht. Frühes Feedback zur Übertragung hat wenig überraschend gezeigt, dass eingeblendete Holecards für die Zuschauerschaft essenziell für eine unterhaltsame Übertragung<\/strong> sind. So wundert es nicht, dass der parallele Stream des Hustler Casino zehnmal mehr Zuschauer als die Konkurrenz von Live at the Bike anlocken konnte. In Sachen Views hat man zwar immer etwas das Nachsehen, für gewöhnlich kann man aber rund 15.000 Zuschauer für den LATB-Stream begeistern, dieses Mal nur 7.000.<\/p>

Pokerübertragungen befinden sich in einer kniffligen Lage. Es ist klar, dass sich die Pokerbranche keine potenziellen Betrugsfälle vor laufenden Kameras erlauben kann, dennoch muss ein Stream unterhaltsam und entspannt verlaufen. Das Ausblenden von Holecards wird nicht die Lösung sein, wenn man bedenkt, wie sehr die Einführung der Holecard-Kameras vor mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten die Attraktivität von Poker im TV revolutioniert hatte.<\/p>
