Dass ein bekanntes Gesicht der TV-Branche ein Pokerturnier gewinnt, kommt selten vor, ist dann aber auch ein willkommener Anlass, um das Spiel einem größeren Publikum näherzubringen. Das verfolgt tatsächlich regelmäßig eine US-Show mit dem Titel \"Storage Wars\", die auch international ausgestrahlt wird, und Rene Nezhoda<\/strong> ist einer der Protagonisten der Dokusoap.<\/p>

Abseits seiner Fähigkeit, bei in Zahlungsverzug geratenen Mietlagern das richtige zu ersteigern, um die Inhalte mit Mehrwert zu verkaufen, scheint er auch das eine oder andere über Poker zu wissen.<\/p>

So stiegen 340 Spieler in das $1.000 Main Event der Americas Card Room Poker Tour in Punta del Este in Uruguay ein und Nezhoda verließ das Turnier am Ende als Sieger. Das wurde mit einem Hauptpreis von $70.455<\/strong> belohnt, nachdem er im Heads-up auch Emiliano Bazzano schlagen konnte.<\/p>

Nezhoda ist allerdings auch kein Unbekannter an den Pokertischen und war laut eigener Aussage vor seiner Karriere als Mietlager-Connaisseur professioneller Cashgame-Spieler in Las Vegas<\/strong>, wo er regelmäßig bei den $5\/$10-Partien im Bellagio mitgemischt haben will. Für Americas Card Room ist er mittlerweile als Markenbotschafter tätig, vermutlich wird man von Nezhoda also in Zukunft mehr an den Turniertischen sehen.<\/p>
