Es hat fast drei Monate gedauert, bis man sich auf ein konkretes Datum einigen konnte, nun steht aber endlich das lang ersehnte Heads-up zwischen Jason Koon und Phil Hellmuth<\/a> um satte $1,6 Millionen an.<\/p>

Jeder der beiden geht mit einem Buy-in von $800.000<\/strong> in das Aufeinandertreffen, das die fünfte Runde in der insgesamt dritten Duellreihe bei der Show \"High Stakes Duel\" von PokerGO darstellen wird. Gezeigt wird das Match am 7. Dezember<\/strong> wie üblich live bei PokerGO.<\/p>

Die Regeln beim High Stakes Duel besagen, dass ein Spieler drei Duelle in Folge vor Runde 4 gewinnen muss oder zwei Duelle in Folge ab Runde 4, damit er seinen Gewinn einbehalten und abziehen darf. Bevor das erreicht ist, kann sich jederzeit ein neuer oder alter Herausforderer zwischen den Duellen innerhalb von 30 Tagen melden, die Stakes werden jedoch stets verdoppelt, solange eine aktive Duellreihe gespielt wird, ohne dass ein Gewinn abgezogen wurde.<\/p>

Das bedeutet, dass Koon nur diese eine Chance hat zu verhindern, dass Phil Hellmuth den Gewinn von $1,6 Millionen abzieht. Falls Koon tatsächlich gewinnt, kann wiederum Phil Hellmuth oder jemand anderes ihn in der Folge aber zu einem Heads-up um $3,2 Millionen herausfordern.<\/p>

Das Duell gegen Koon ist das insgesamt elfte High Stakes Duell in Folge für Phil Hellmuth, nachdem er das erste im Juli 2020 für ein Buy-in von $50.000 gegen Antonio Esfandiari bestritt. Seitdem war Phil bei der Show nur einmal Tom Dwan unterlegen, setzte sich dann allerdings im Rematch der beiden wieder durch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
