Er besitzt bereits eine der bekanntesten Stimmen, wenn es um Übertragungen großer Pokerturniere geht. Nun kann der legendäre WSOP-Kommentator Lon McEachern auch  einen offiziellen WSOP-Titel auf der Habenseite verbuchen, nachdem er bei einem Turnier der WSOP-C als Sieger hervorging.<\/p>

Deutlich bekannter für seine Begleitung des WSOP Main Event als Kommentator neben Norman Chad in den letzten zwanzig Jahren, hat man von Lon als Spieler eher wenig zu Gesicht bekommen. Nun hat er aber jüngst bewiesen, dass er gutes Spiel nicht nur stimmlich begleiten, sondern auch selbst an den Pokertischen zeigen kann.<\/p>

So ging er beim $400 Seniors Event des WSOP Circuit Thunder Valley in Kalifornien mit dem Titel nach Hause, nachdem er sich gegen 181 Spieler durchsetzte und im finalen Heads-up auch Calvin Norman schlagen konnte.<\/p>

Neben dem Preisgeld von $15.008 kann McEachern damit auch einen offiziellen Circuit-Ring der WSOP-C in die heimische Vitrine stellen, die zu den begehrtesten Trophäen nach den allseits bekannten Bracelets der World Series zählen.
