Wir dachten eigentlich, der Bad Beat Jackpot im Februar, der am Ende keiner war<\/a>, wäre das bisher Kurioseste, was wir bei den Tischen mit besonderer Würze erlebt haben – doch da könnten wir zu voreilig gewesen sein.<\/p>

Im San Antonio Poker Palace in Texas wurde ein Bad Beat Jackpot von $100.000 jüngst wegen einer Formalität nicht ausgezahlt. Die milde gesagt Übereifrigkeit eines Spielers kostete dabei den ganzen Tisch einen satten Gewinn.<\/p>

Was war passiert? Der besagte Spieler deckte in der noch laufenden Hand seine Karten auf, bevor die Aktionen am Tisch abgeschlossen waren, was gegen die Bad-Beat-Regeln im Cardroom verstößt. In der Hand schlug ein Spieler mit einem Straight Flush die Quads eines anderen, einen Jackpot gab es dafür aber nicht.<\/p>

$50.000 wären im Normalfall an den \"Verlierer\" der Hand gegangen, $25.000 an den Gewinner und $25.000 an den Rest des Tischs. Noch abenteuerlicher ist dabei, dass nicht etwa irgendein Spieler am Tisch seine Karten zeigte, weil er es nicht besser wusste, sondern tatsächlich der Spieler mit dem Straight Flush.<\/p>

Aber auch die Regeln auf der Website besagen eindeutig, dass das vorzeitige Aufdecken der eigenen Karten vor dem Abschluss aller Aktionen in einer Hand dazu führt, dass der gesamte Tisch keinen Anspruch auf den Jackpot hat<\/strong>. In besagter Hand drehte der Spieler mit dem Straight Flush seine Karten um, bevor der Spieler mit Quads tatsächlich den Call vollzog. Zu allem Überfluss hatte der Caller lediglich $10 übrig und hätte garantiert ohnehin gecallt.<\/p>

Die fragliche Regeln soll den Veranstalter davor schützen, dass Collusion am Tisch betrieben wird, um einen Bad Beat Jackpot zu knacken. So könnten Spieler durchaus nur mit Händen weiterspielen, die Chancen auf ein Full House oder besser haben, und den Rest des Tischs informieren, dass eine potenzielle Bad-Beat-Hand möglich ist.<\/p>

Die Entscheidung des Cardrooms ist nichtdestotrotz natürlich kontrovers, weil der Spieler mit Quads zweifellos ohnehin gecallt hätte, allerdings muss sich auch der Spieler mit dem Straight Flush fragen, was er sich eigentlich gedacht hat.<\/p>
