Manch einer erinnert sich noch gut an den Final Table beim WSOP Main Event 2016, als ein gewisser William Kassouf aus Großbritannien mit besonders langer Hinhaltetaktik und einem kaum ertragbaren Ausmaß an Table Talk seine Mitspieler an den Rand der Tätlichkeit brachte.<\/p>

Zuletzt hat sich der bei Kollegen äußerst unbeliebte Spieler nun bei der Irish Open die Ehre gegeben, die vor Kurzem in Dublin abgeschlossen<\/a> wurde. Dabei soll Kassouf am Rande des Turniers wieder in seine alte Trickkiste gegriffen haben.<\/p>

So berichteten mehrere Spieler, dass er seine Chips in einem eigentlich verlorenen PLO-Pot wieder eingesammelt und aus dem Cardroom gerannt sein soll. Noch absurder wird das Ganze, wenn man auf den geschätzten Wert von €300 bis €400 der Chips blickt, was einen ehemaligen Main-Event-Finalisten eigentlich nicht zu einer derart skurrilen Aktion verleiten sollte:<\/p>

Falls die Vorwürfe sich bewahrheiten, dürfte Kassouf sich damit eine Sperre bei zukünftigen Live-Events von PokerStars eingehandelt haben, da der ehemalige Online-Marktführer mittlerweile die Irish Open sponsort.<\/p>

Es ist auch nicht das erste Mal, dass Kassouf mit einer derartigen Aktion auffällig wurde. 2018 verlor er sein Sponsoring durch Grosvenor Poker<\/a>, als er dabei ertappt wurde, $100 aus dem Roulette-Stacks eines Kumpels zu stibitzen.<\/p>

Kassouf ist bereits ohne die Vorfälle einer der unbeliebtesten Spieler im Pokerzirkus, weil er bei jeder von ihm gespielten Hand die Bedenkzeit bis zum Maximum ausreizt.<\/p>
