Jeder in der Branche hat gesagt, dass der Rekord gebrochen wird, und viele Wettanbieter haben die Grenze bei 9.000 Teilnehmern gesetzt für die klassischen Wetten der Kategorie \"Over\" und \"Under\".<\/p>

Nun wird bereits gemunkelt, ob beim WSOP Main Event 2023 nicht sogar 10.000 Spieler ihren Weg an die Turniertische finden könnten.<\/p>

Drei Starttage liegen mittlerweile hinter uns und man konnte die Zwischenergebnisse aus dem vergangenen Jahr bereits deutlich übertreffen. Zur Erinnerung: Im Jahr 2022 wurde der Rekord von 8.772 Spielern fast gebrochen, die endgültige Zahl lag bei 8.663.<\/p>

Zum Zeitpunkt des Schreibens sind etwa 5.278 Spieler in das Main Event 2023 eingestiegen<\/strong>, wobei sowohl Tag 1D als auch die späte Registrierung an den zwei noch anstehenden zweiten Turniertagen noch nicht abgeschlossen sind.<\/p>

Im letzten Jahr waren es zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur 3.580 Teilnehmer, was einen Anstieg von 47% gegenüber dem Vorjahr<\/strong> bedeutet. Nur noch 3.494 Spieler sind notwendig, dass der Teilnehmerrekord aus dem Jahr 2006, als Jamie Gold das größte Pokerturnier der Welt für sich entscheiden konnte, tatsächlich gebrochen wird.<\/p>

Das wird sehr wahrscheinlich passieren, denn Tag 1D ist historisch gesehen der größte Starttag beim Main Event. So sind im letzten Jahr noch satte 4.481 Spieler an diesem Tag in das Turnier eingestiegn und die World Series hat die Spieler in diesem Jahr bereits vorab darauf hingewiesen, dass Tag 1D möglicherweise zu zehnt gespielt werden muss<\/strong>, um der hochen Nachfrage gerecht zu werden.<\/p>

Kann man also schon vorzeitig die Korken knallen lassen? Ja. Das Main Event 2023 wird das größte aller Zeiten!<\/p>
