\nPokerStrategy Turnier- und SNG-Coach Morgoth hat in den letzten Monaten für Furore gesorgt. Er konnte die Deutschen Pokermeisterschaften 2006 gewinnen und zeigte in vielen weiteren Online- als auch Offlineturnieren, dass er ein kompetenter und gefährlicher Pokerspieler ist.\n<\/p>

\nZuletzt nahm er an der World Series of Poker 2007 teil, wo er erneut sein Können unter Beweis stellen wollte. Ob ihm dies gelungen ist, und ob er, trotz des viel kritisierten Systems der Deutschen Poker Meisterschaften 2007, seinen Titel verteidigen will, erfahrt ihr im Interview.

\n\tPokerStrategy: <\/b>Hallo Morgoth, lass uns direkt zu den interessanten Themen kommen. Was ist dein persönliches Statement zur WSOP 2007. Bist du mit deinen Erfolgen zufrieden? Welche Turniere hast du gespielt und kannst du finanziell ein positives Fazit ziehen?\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tMorgoth: <\/b>Es hat relativ gut angefangen. Ich habe gleich zu Beginn und gegen Mitte des Aufenthalts, in Turnieren des Bellagio, gecashed. ( 2500$ Bellagio Sideevents ) Das war erstmal sehr erfreulich, allerdings habe ich sehr viele Turniere gespielt und im Rio konnte ich kein einziges mal ins Geld kommen, so dass ich am Ende doch wieder in den Miesen war. Von daher hätte es natürlich besser laufen können. Ich habe von den großen Turnieren das Bellagio für $10.000, das Main Event für $10.000 und ein Pot Limit Omaha Rebuy sowie noch ein anderes Rebuy Turnier, welche auch recht teuer waren, gespielt. So bin ich trotz meiner $70.000, die ich gewonnen habe, einiges im Minus aber nicht so, dass es so bewegend wäre.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>

\n\tInsgesamt bin ich trotzdem zufrieden, es hat Spaß gemacht. Ich bin nicht hin gefahren um groß abzuräumen; obwohl natürlich immer die Chance besteht, bei den großen Turnieren, an den Final Table zu kommen und sehr viel zu gewinnen. Das habe ich leider nicht geschafft. Auch mein Ziel, an den Final Table eines WSOP Events zu kommen, konnte ich nicht erreichen. Aber wie gesagt - ich bin trotzdem zufrieden. Wir waren in unserem Haus, hatten gute Stimmung. Immer mit ca. 12 bis 16 Leuten. Das hat viel Spaß gemacht, vor allem auch die Leute kennen zu lernen. Das würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder machen.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tPokerStrategy: <\/b>Hast du neben den Turnieren auch Cash Games gespielt?\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tMorgoth: <\/b>Ich habe auch etwas Cash-Game gespielt, aber nicht so viel. Da habe ich vielleicht zwischen $5.000 und $10.000 gewonnen. Genau kann ich das nicht sagen, da ich eben nur weiß wie viel ich am Ende an Ausgaben hatte.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tPokerStrategy: <\/b>Nun zur Deutschen Poker Meisterschaft 2007. Was hältst du, als Titelverteidiger, von dem neuen System, dass von vielen Seiten stark kritisiert wurde?\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n

\n\tMorgoth: <\/b>Ganz ehrlich, ich habe von vorne herein nichts wirklich Großes erwartet. Ich wusste von den Veranstaltern, dass die Meisterschaft in Bad Zwischenahn stattfinden wird. Von daher war mir schon klar, dass es von der Teilnehmerzahl recht begrenzt sein wird. Ich hatte gehofft, dass sie vielleicht große Qualifikationsturniere in den einzelnen Kasinos veranstalten und diese dann über mehrere Tage laufen lassen würden, um ein größeres Turnier mit besserer Struktur anbieten zu können.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\tIm Endeffekt, ist es das gleiche wie im letzten Jahr, jedoch mit kleinen Verbesserungen, wie das verdoppelte Buy-In und keiner Möglichkeit sich direkt einzukaufen.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n

\n\tPokerStrategy: <\/b>Du siehst die Abschaffung des direkt Buy-Ins als positiven Punkt. Gerade dieser wurde in den Foren und Kommentaren stark kritisiert. Warum ist es, in deinen Augen, trotzdem positiv zu bewerten?\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n

\n\tMorgoth: <\/b>Bei diesem System sehe ich das auf jeden Fall positiv. Die direkten Buy-Ins letztes Jahr waren sinnlos, da nur die Leute, die Stammkunden in den Kasinos waren oder anderweitige Verbindungen hatten, Karten bekommen haben. Die Leute die sich darüber beschweren, dass man sich nicht direkt einkaufen kann, sollten noch einmal darüber nachdenken, da gerade sie wahrscheinlich so oder so kein Ticket bekommen hätten.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\tVon daher ist es in diesem Fall am fairsten für alle, wenn es keine direkt Buy-Ins gibt. Denn es wird in jedem Fall zu wenig Karten geben. So hat wenigstens jeder die Chance, eine zu erhalten. Dennoch, natürlich wäre es besser gewesen das größer aufzuziehen. \n\t<\/p>\n

\n\tIch habe heute schon 30 Minuten mit dem Verantwortlichen telefoniert. Er sagte mir, dass die Kasinos im Süden, wie zum Beispiel Wiesbaden, ursprünglich dabei gewesen wären als die DPM gegründet wurde, dann aber wieder abgesprungen sind.\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\tDas Problem ist: Man muss sich überlegen, um was es für die Kasinos geht. Es ist eigentlich eine reine Werbeveranstaltung, da sich damit kaum etwas verdienen lässt. Es geht nur darum Leute ins Kasino zu locken und ihren Standort in das Licht der Öffentlichkeit zu rücken. Die Poker-Spieler dagegen, wollen natürlich ein möglichst gutes und faires System haben um ihren Deutschen Meister zu küren. Die Kasinos wiederum haben aber nichts davon, ein derart großes und aufwändiges Turnier zu veranstalten.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tPokerStrategy: <\/b>Wirst du versuchen deinen Titel zu verteidigen?\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tMorgoth: <\/b>Ja, ich werde auf jeden Fall versuchen mich dort zu qualifizieren. Und, da es nur Satellites geben wird, wird es auch ein sehr softes Turnier werden.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

\n\tPokerStrategy: <\/b>Wo liegt deine Schmerzgrenze? Wie viele Satellites würdest du maximal spielen, um dich zu qualifizieren?\n<\/p><\/blockquote>

\n\tMorgoth: <\/b>So viele wie möglich. Ich zähle nicht wenn ich fünf mal probiert hätte das Geld, und sage mir: „Ich will jetzt nicht noch einmal 200€ bezahlen“. Das wäre mir egal. Ich würde mich am liebsten direkt einkaufen. Das Problem wird eher sein, dass ich nicht die Zeit finde an vielen Satellites in Berlin, Bad Zwischenahn oder Hamburg teilzunehmen. Aber wenn ich mal in der Gegend bin werde ich versuchen möglichst viele Turniere zu spielen.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>
