Vor Kurzem veranstaltete das Podcast-Team von Poker in the Ears<\/em> eine Jubiläumsausgabe zur Feier der 300. Episode im Hippodrome in London. Während des Events wurde niemand Geringeres als Barny Boatman als Neuzugang im Team Pro von PokerStars begrüßt.<\/p>

Letzten Monat beeindruckte Boatman die gesamte Pokerszene, als er in Paris das zweitgrößte EPT-Event gewann<\/a> und ein stolzes Preisgeld von €1.287.000 sein Eigen nennen durfte. Damit wurde er im Alter von 68 Jahren zum ältesten Spieler, der jemals eine EPT gewinnen konnte.<\/p>

Nach Pokerlegende Doyle Brunson ist der 68-Jährige nun der zweitälteste Spieler, der noch einen Sponsorenvertrag beim Poker ergattert hat. Zweifellos ein cleverer Schachzug von PokerStars, denn Boatmans Triumph löste in der gesamten Pokerszene eine Welle der Begeisterung aus.<\/strong><\/p>

In der Vergangenheit war Boatman bereits bei Full Tilt unter Vertrag und machte sich als Mitgründer des Hendon Mobs einen Namen. Darüber hinaus gelang es ihm während seiner Pokerkarriere, zwei WSOP-Bracelets zu gewinnen.<\/p>
