Im heutigen Interview stellen wir euch den jüngsten Neuzugang des Videoteams von PokerStrategy.com vor. pzhon ist der neueste Coach in unseren Reihen und wird euch vor allem mit Videos rund um das Thema SnG versorgen. Er beteiligt sich außerdem regelmäßig im englischen Forum an Strategie-Diskussionen, die ihr hier<\/a> und hier<\/a> nachlesen könnt.<\/p>

Im Gespräch mit ihm erzählt er uns, wie er zu Poker kam, welche Videos er produzieren wird und welchen Stil er dabei bevorzugt.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Hallo Douglas, kannst du dich kurz vorstellen?<\/p>

pzhon: Hi, ich bin ausgebildeter Mathematiker und habe ein Buch über praktische Pokermathematik mit Collin Moshman geschrieben. Außerdem habe ich ein Shareware-Programm namens ICM Explorer entwickelt, mit dem man Turniersituationen untersuchen kann.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Seit wann ist Poker Bestandteil deines Lebens und was bedeutet es für dich?<\/p>

pzhon: Zu Poker kam ich, nachdem ich turniermäßig fünf Jahre Backgammon gespielt hatte. Eine ganze Menge Backgammon-Spieler haben sich dem Poker zugewandt, da Poker bekannter und auch lukrativer ist.<\/p>

Als ich mit dem Pokern angefangen habe, war Online-Poker softer und die Bonusse großzügiger. Ich war vom ersten Tag an ein Winning Player und machte aus $5 innerhalb von 6 Monaten $10.000. Das geht heutzutage nicht mehr so leicht.<\/p>

Ich genieße es, Leuten Dinge beizubringen, wozu eben auch Poker gehört.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Was war bis jetzt der größte Erfolg in deiner Online-Poker-Karriere?<\/p>

pzhon: Dass ich meine Miete seit Jahren damit zahle! Wenn man Ring Games oder SnGs spielt, gibt es keinen einzelnen Sieg. Ich hatte einige nette Erfolge in einigen MTTs, eingeschlossen dem Final Table der ersten beiden MTTs, die ich auf PartyPoker gespielt habe und womit ich meine Bankroll verdoppelte. Außerdem habe ich zwei MTTs mit über 1.000 Teilnehmern in Folge gewonnen.<\/p>

Ein anderes Level bezüglich Erfolg ist das Coaching. Einer Studentin habe ich zum Beispiel alles von Grund auf beigebracht, wie etwa dass ein Flush eine Straight schlägt. Mittlerweile ist sie eine professionelle Spielerin im Sharkscope-Leaderboard und machte bisher auf jedem Limit, das sie 2010 spielte, Profit.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Seit wann produzierst du Videos?<\/p>

pzhon: Ich glaube, meine ersten Videos sind von 2007 oder 2008. Ein früheres Projekt war das Aufzeichnen und Kommentieren von Turnieren für das Einsteiger-Fragenforum 2+2.<\/p>

Außerdem habe ich noch auf einer anderen Seite ausgebildet.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Welche Spieltypen finden wir in deinen Videos?<\/p>

pzhon: In den meisten meiner Videos werde ich Themen direkt vortragen und nicht etwa eine Live-Session kommentieren. Ich stelle euch eine Idee vor und zeige euch, wie man damit umgehen kann.<\/p>

Ich werde vor allem über SnGs reden. Allerdings habe ich auch viel Cash Game auf beiden Limits gespielt und denke darüber nach, Videos zu produzieren, die sich mit Themen wie Spieltheorie oder Datenbankanalyse auseinandersetzen.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Was für Limits spielst du selbst?<\/p>

pzhon: Das höchste Limit, das ich gespielt habe, war ein $3.000-$6.000-Spiel. Jedoch spiele ich normalerweise wesentlich niedrigere Stakes wie NL $200, $3-$6 Limit oder $22 SnGs. Am Tisch versuche ich, so viel Geld wie möglich zu gewinnen, aber das entscheide ich trotzdem nicht immer nach dem Geldfaktor. Es macht mir mehr Spaß, konstant zu gewinnen und einen hohen ROI zu haben.<\/p>

PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Hast Du Kontakt zu anderen Videoproduzenten von PokerStrategy.com? Ist eine Zusammenarbeit geplant?<\/p>
