Man sollte annehmen, dass mit zunehmender Größe der Triton-Veranstaltungen die Chancen der Amateure auf den Sieg abnehmen. In Jeju ist aber jetzt genau das Gegenteil passiert.<\/p>

In dem größten Teilnehmerfeld<\/a> der Triton-Geschichte (379 Teilnehmende) hat ein Amateurspieler aus China den Sieg errungen.<\/p>

Zhao Hongjun hat soeben den $15.000-Auftakt für $818.000 gewonnen. <\/strong>Das war nicht das höchste Preisgeld des Abends, denn es gab einen Heads-up-Deal und Yuzhu Wang, ebenfalls aus China, nahm $975.000 mit nach Hause.<\/p>

<\/div>

Erstaunlicherweise ist Hongjumn nicht nur kein Profi, er war auch nicht wegen der Triton-Serie nach Jeju gekommen. Er war wegen eines Golfturniers in der Stadt und entschied sich spontan, am Pokerturnier teilzunehmen.<\/p>

Er kommentierte dies in seinem Triton-Interview: „Ich fand dieses Turnier relativ einfach, sogar einfacher als manche Turniere in China. Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. In Zukunft werde ich weiterhin an den 30K- und 50K-Buy-In-Events teilnehmen und die Erfahrung dieser legendären Turnierserie voll und ganz genießen.“<\/p>

Die Serie ist nun in vollem Gange und zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung dieses Artikels befindet sich das $20.000-Event am Final Table, wo $1.350.000 auf den Gewinner warten.<\/p>
