Das WSOP-C-Ring-Rennen ist das einzige Leaderboard, das man beim Poker verfolgen sollte. Erst letzten Monat lag Maurice Hawkins mit 18 Ringen<\/a> gleichauf mit Ari Engel, bevor Engel seinen 19. Ring gewann<\/a> und die Führung zurückeroberte. Dann sicherte sich Daniel Lowry mit zwei Siegen<\/a> in kurzer Folge den zweiten Platz und lag mit 18 Ringen gleichauf mit Hawkins.<\/p>

Jetzt hat Hawkins Engel wieder eingeholt und sich den 19. WSOP-C Ring in seiner Karriere geschnappt.<\/p>

Er ließ ein Feld von 571 Teilnehmenden beim $400 Monster Stack auf der Horseshoe Tunica Station des WSOP Circuit hinter sich. Hawkins strich zudem $34.711 an Preisgeld ein, nachdem er Dylan Crawford im Heads-up besiegt hatte.<\/p>

Damit baut er seine seit 2008 andauernde Serie aus. Während Hawkins alle seine Ringe im No Limit gewonnen hat, kann Engels Ringe in fast jedem erdenklichen Format vorweisen. Zudem hat Hawkins alle seine Armbänder live erspielt, während Engel einige Armbänder am virtuellen Filz errungen hat.<\/p>

Hawkins mag der GOAT sein, wenn es um Live-WSOP-C-Titel geht, aber seine Karriere ist durch die ausbleibenden Zahlungen von Schulden getrübt. Erst diese Woche hat Randy Garcia auf Twitter verkündet, dass Hawkins ihm immer noch einen sechsstelligen Betrag schuldet, und das mehr als ein Jahr nach dem Versprechen der Rückzahlung und mehr als sechs Jahre, nachdem die Forderung fällig gestellt wurde.<\/p>
