Da PLO als Spiel immer mehr an Beliebtheit gewinnt, vergrößern wir den Kreis unserer PLO-Coaches. Dieses Mal heißen wir mit Rohit godlikeroy Bhasin einen 22-jährigen Australier willkommen, der euch in Zukunft seine Videos präsentieren wird.\n

godlikeroy Hi, ich bin 22 Jahre alt und lebe in Sydney, Australien. Ich spiele professionell Poker und habe immer noch großen Spaß daran. Die ständige Herausforderung des Spiels fasziniert und motiviert mich dauerhaft. Außerdem reise ich sehr gerne und war einen Großteil der letzten fünf Jahre unterwegs. Ich bin mir sicher, es wird mich auch in Zukunft immer wieder in die Ferne ziehen.<\/p>

\"Diamond\"PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Seit wann beschäftigst du dich mit Poker und was bedeutet das Spiel für dich?<\/b><\/p>

godlikeroy Ich habe seit ich denken kann viele verschiedene Spiele gespielt und als ich mit 17 zum ersten Mal NLHE im Fernsehen gesehen habe, war ich sofort fasziniert. Aus der ersten Einzahlung von $50 auf PartyPoker wurden dann $1.000 und seitdem wollte ich nie wieder aufhören. Zur Zeit beschäftige ich mich intensiv mit Pot Limit Omaha, da dieses Spiel im Moment die größten Wachstumsraten verzeichnet und viele Spieler noch einiges zu lernen haben. Für mich ist Poker mehr als nur ein Job, es ist mehr ein Lifestyle. Ich spiele zwar fast jeden Tag (wie im Job), verbringe aber auch abseits der Tische Zeit damit, über das Spiel nachzudenken und beim Pokern gelernte Konzepte in andere Teile meines Lebens zu integrieren.<\/p>

\"Diamond\"PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Kannst du uns ein paar Details zu deiner bisherigen Pokerkarriere verraten?<\/b><\/p>

godlikeroy Wie im Leben allgemein geht es auch beim Poker ständig auf und ab. Eins meiner größten Highlights war 2008 der Gewinn eines $5.000 PLO Multitable Tournaments im Crown Casino in Melbourne - das war sowohl mein erstes Live-Turniere als auch mein bisher größter Turniergewinn. Der Nervenkitzel und die Aufregung beim Gewinnen eines Live-Turniers ist etwas ganz Außergewöhnliches und nur selten zu erleben.<\/p>

Aktuell bevorzuge ich es etwas unauffälliger und varianzärmer und bin die meiste Zeit online am Grinden. Ich versuche, jede Woche möglichst viele Hände zu spielen und kann mir mit meiner bescheidenen Winrate einen akzeptablen Lebensstil in Sydney finanzieren. Trotzdem nehme ich mir einige Male pro Woche die Zeit, wenige Tische auf höheren Limits zu spielen, um mein Spiel zu verbessern. Ich bin überzeugt, dass das ein elemtarer Teil des Lernens ist.

<\/b>\"Diamond\"PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Was können die PokerStrategen von deinen Videos erwarten? Welche Limits werden sie zu sehen bekommen?<\/b><\/p>

godlikeroy Ich spiele hauptsächlich auf den Limits von 2\/4 PLO bis 5\/10 PLO und werde dort auch die meisten meiner Live-Videos aufnehmen. Ab und zu spiele ich auch an den 10\/20 und 25\/50 Shallow-Tischen und werde mit den dort gespielten Händen vielleicht einige Session Reviews machen. In der letzten Zeit war ich auch bei MTTs (PLO und besonders PLO8) recht erfolgreich und wurde zu Beginn des Jahres Zweiter beim $2.100 PLO8 SCOOP Event. Wenn also Interesse an Turniervideos besteht, kann ich gerne welche für euch aufnehmen.

<\/b>\"Diamond\"PokerStrategy.com: <\/b>Welcher ist der deiner Meinung nach wichtigste Rat, den du ehrgeizigen Spielern mit auf den Weg geben kannst?<\/b><\/p>

godlikeroy Das ist einfach: Spielt euer \"A\"-Game. Das hört sich einfach an, aber die meisten Pokerspieler spielen zu 90% einfach nur ihr \"B\"- oder \"C\"-Game, wenn sie an den Tischen unterwegs sind. Das ist bei mir auch nicht anders. Gut zu spielen beinhaltet so viele verschiedene Komponenten, dass es viel harter Arbeit bedarf, um ständig auf dem höchsten Level zu spielen - so muss man sowohl mental als auch körperlich in Topform sein. Man muss sich ausschließlich aufs Pokern konzentrieren und sich in seinen Gedankengängen von nichts anderem ablenken lassen. Aus dem gleichen Grund sollte man auch nicht zu viele Tische auf einmal spielen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
