Prognosemärkte gehören derzeit zu den am schnellsten wachsenden Trends in der Techwelt. Sie ermöglichen es Nutzern, Verträge zu kaufen und zu verkaufen, die an den Ausgang realer Ereignisse gekoppelt sind – im Grunde also Wetten auf politische, wirtschaftliche oder kulturelle Entwicklungen. Zum Beispiel berichteten wir diese Woche über den Markt für die reichste Person der Welt am Ende des Jahres 2025<\/a>.<\/p>

Der größte Betreiber ist Polymarket, eine dezentrale Plattform, die auf Blockchain-Technologie basiert. Kalshi hingegen agiert unter der Aufsicht und mit der Genehmigung der U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Diese Woche wurde bekannt, dass Polymarket und Kalshi Finanzierungsrunden einleiten<\/a>, die die Unternehmen mit bis zu 10 Milliarden beziehungsweise 4 Milliarden Dollar bewerten.<\/p>

Es bleibt spannend zu sehen, ob Negreanus Einfluss Auswirkungen auf Kalshi haben wird. Pokerspieler sind dafür bekannt, auf so ziemlich alles zu wetten, daher liegt es nahe, dass es künftig auch Interesse an Märkten für Poker auf Kalshi geben könnte.
