Im Heads-Up besiegte er Donal Norton und strich dafür das Preisgeld von €801.400 ein. Channing war mit einem erdrückenden Chiplead am Final Table gestartet. Mit fast 3 Millionen in Chips verfügte er über etwa dreimal so viele Chips wie der Zweitplatzierte im Chipcount, Thomas Dunwoodie.<\/p>

Channing setzte seinen Chiplead geschickt ein und hielt den Druck auf seine Gegenspieler stets aufrecht. Im Laufe des Tages zeigte er immer mehr seine Ansprüche auf den ersten Platz. Nachdem Dunwoodie als Drittplatzierter ausschied, ging er mit einem 2:1 Chiplead ins Heads-Up. <\/p>

Auch hier übte er weiter Druck aus und stahl munter die Blinds. In der entscheidenden Hand konnte er mit A9 die Pocket-Fünfen von Norton busten. Schon am Flop kam das Ass. Turn und River brachten keine Veränderung mehr und Channing stand als Gewinner fest.<\/p>
