Da war Online-Poker die perfekte L&ouml;sung. Ich habe meist zum Spa&szlig; bei UltimateBet $20-$30 SnGs und NL25 - NL100 gespielt. Im Jahr 2003 hab ich die Uni abgeschlossen und beschlossen, die ganze Sache ernsthafter anzugehen und damit Geld zu machen, w&auml;hrend ich mich au&szlig;erdem nach einer Arbeit im Bereich Journalismus umsehen w&uuml;rde.<\/p><p> <a href=\"https:\/\/img94.imageshack.us\/img94\/9415\/jackalps.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/Editorial\/News\/shaw6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"233\" style=\"margin-left: 12px;margin-bottom: 6px;float: right\"><\/a>Mir wurde dann ein Job beim Poker Europa Magazin (gef&uuml;hrt von Nic Szeremeta, dem Mann hinter Late Night Poker) angeboten und so konnte ich Poker spielen und gleichzeitig auch dar&uuml;ber schreiben. Damals ging der Poker-Boom gerade so richtig los und ich spielte einige Live Events, darunter auch die ersten EPTs, wo ich die meisten bekannten europ&auml;ischen Spieler kennenlernen konnte. Das war damals noch recht anders, da galt beispielsweise noch der gesamte Hendon Mob als Frischlinge und nur wenige der jungen Online-Spieler zu den Live Events reisten.<\/p><p>Im Jahr 2005 k&uuml;ndigte ich meinen Job, weil ich mehr Zeit zum Spielen und mehr Freiheiten wollte, um f&uuml;r andere Magazine wie \"Inside Edge\" und \"Poker Player\" aus England schreiben zu k&ouml;nnen. 2006 lief pokertechnisch f&uuml;r mich sehr gut und ich gewann oder choppte Turnier f&uuml;r rund $76.000 und $42.000 und schaffte es einen TV-Final Table. Dadurch konnte ich die High Stakes spielen, wo ich auch heute noch anzutreffen bin.<\/p><p>Von 2006-2009 spielte ich viel High Stakes NL Cashgames und als die NL-Games schlechter wurden, wechselte ich zu den High Stakes SnGs und zu den Mixed Games, auf die ich mich heute haupts&auml;chlich konzentriere. Aktuell bin ich durch die $200-$2.000 SnGs und $25\/$50-$200\/$400 Mixed Games Supernova Elite bei PokerStars.<\/p><p>Ich spiele nat&uuml;rlich auch MTTs, haupts&auml;chlich online, und war in den vergangenen Woche sehr besch&auml;ftigt mit der SCOOP und vorher auch mit der EPT Madrid. Seit dem Black Friday findet ihr mich auch an den $3\/$6-$10\/$20 PLO-Tischen bei PokerStars, da es an den anderen Tischen etwas ruhiger geworden ist. In den Videos gehe ich mit Live-Sessions, aufgenommenen oder Replayer-Sessions und Theorie\/Classroom-Videos verschiedene Wege.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-origin.pokerstrategy.com\/Editorial\/elements\/ps_design_mark_gray.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"17\" height=\"12\"><strong> PokerStrategy.com<\/strong>: Welche deiner F&auml;higkeiten sind f&uuml;r deine Arbeit als Pokercoach am hilfreichsten?<\/p><p>philshaw: Ich habe in Oxford Englisch studiert, weswegen meine Kommunikationsf&auml;higkeiten wohl recht gut sein d&uuml;rften und so konzentriere ich mich auf die Erkl&auml;rungen, warum gewisse Strategien korrekt sind, welche Faktoren eine Rolle spielen und wie sie in die Gesamtstrategie des Spiels passen k&ouml;nnen.<\/p><p>Au&szlig;erdem habe ich einen Mathematik- und Psychologie-Hintergrund, wodurch ich sowohl Aspekte wie die Spieltheorie und mentales Training mit einbeziehen kann. Zus&auml;tzlich habe ich bereits mehrere Pokerartikel und zwei B&uuml;cher verfasst. Coachings am hilfreichsten, um mein Spiel zu verbessern. Zu Beginn meiner Karriere habe ich alle verf&uuml;gbaren Pokerb&uuml;cher gekauft, von denen einige wie \"Super System\" und manche der TwoPlusTwo-Titel sehr zu empfehlen w&auml;ren.<\/p><p>Sie bereiten einen aber nicht so gut auf das Spielen vor oder erkl&auml;ren die Gedankeng&auml;nge, so wie es Videos tun. Wenn man genug davon ansieht, wird ein Gro&szlig;teil der interessanten Situationen fr&uuml;her oder sp&auml;ter vorkommen. Ganz &auml;hnlich es bei der Diskussion mit anderen Spielern oder beim Coaching, da man dabei am besten neue Ideen kennenlernt und Bereiche entdeckt, in denen man noch Fehler macht.
