Poker nimmt in Macau trotz aller Rekorde noch immer nur eine Nebenrolle ein. Die Gambler in Macau haben es vor allem auf Slotmaschinen und Pferdewetten und nicht auf das Kartenspiel abgesehen. PokerStars<\/a> brachte im vergangenen Jahr im Zuge der APPT das erste internationale Major nach Macau und konnte sich seitdem erfolgreich für eine Lockerung der Bestimmungen für private Cardrooms einsetzten.
