According to HighStakesDB's data for the first 10 days of this month, Hansen is already up by $479,114.30 after 3,709 hands while Ziigmund <\/em>(pictured right) is stuck by $702,785.30 in 3,698 hands.<\/p>

Gus slowly digging himself out of the hole<\/h2>

In early October, Gus Hansen was solidly leading the pack in terms of the player with the biggest losses for the year. At his lowest, Hansen was down by over $3.5 million, but he has since mounted a remarkable recovery.<\/p>

After accounting for his latest sessions on Full Tilt Poker<\/a>'s high stakes tables this month, he is now down by just over $1.4 million. He clawed back most of his losses after finding his niche at the $200\/$400 Pot Limit Omaha Cap tables.<\/p>

No end to Ziigmund's misery<\/h2>

While things are looking up for Gus, it is the complete opposite for Ziigmund<\/em>. Since the beginning of October, the Finnish pro has suffered an endless streak of losses and is now down by almost $2.5 million.<\/p>

It seemed like his luck was changing when he played Niki Jedlicka on the $200\/$400 Pot Limit Omaha tables recently and he ended up with a small $133k profit. However, he then went on to lose it all back and more after dropping over $300k to jungleman12<\/em> in the same game, the very next day.<\/p>
