27 verbliebene Teilnehmer kämpfen um den Einzug an den Final Table des WSOP Main Events. Die Spieler verteilen sich auf drei Tische. Jeder von ihnen hat mindestens $257.334 Preisgeld sicher.
\n6.844 Teilnehmer traten zu diesem bedeutendsten No-Limit Hold'em Event des Jahres an. Der Preispool beträgt $64.333.600. Dem Gewinner winken $9.119.517.<\/p>

Der Final Table mit den neun letzten Spieler wird übrigens erst im November ausgetragen - Tag 7 ist somit vorerst der letzte bei der WSOP 2008.<\/p>

\nDennis Phillips Chipleader<\/b>\n<\/p>

Den Chiplead übernahm der aus Missouri stammende Dennis Phillips. Mit 11.910.000 Chips liegt er knapp vor seinem engsten Verfolger Craig Marquis, dieser verfügt über 11.460.000 Chips. Die beiden werden jedoch an verschiedenen Tischen in den siebten Turniertag starten. Ebenfalls noch im Rennen sind unter anderem Brandon Cantu (4.740.000), Scott Montgomery (4.320.000) und Niklas Flisberg (1.330.000).<\/p>

\nFelix 'LawDoc' <\/b>Osterland erreicht Platz 38<\/b>\n<\/p>

PokerStratege Felix <\/b> 'LawDoc<\/b>' Osterland musste auf Rang 38 an die Rails. Er war der letzte verbliebene Deutsche des Main Events der diesjährigen WSOP. Für seine überzeugende Performance erhielt er $154.400. Im Der große Felix 'LawDoc' Osterland Fanboy Thread<\/a> kannst du ihm auch gerne dazu gratulieren!<\/p>

In der entscheidenden Hand raiste Marquis preflop auf 140.000 und Osterland (SB) pushte All-In für 1.335.000. David Rheem im Big Blind callte, und Marquis foldete. Osterland hielt . Rheem hielt und lag mit 55% knapp vorne. Der Flop brachte und damit das Toppair für Felix. Allerdings brachte der Flop auch das Set für Rheem, der nun knapp 98-prozentiger Favorit war. Osterland hätte nur noch ein Runner-Runner helfen können. Die auf dem Turn beendete den Traum des Deutschen - er war drawing dead<\/i>. Die auf dem River war somit bedeutungslos. Für Osterland bedeutete es nach sechs Turniertagen das Aus.
\nRheem hingegen baute mit dieser Aktion seinen Stack auf 7.700.000 aus. Am Ende des Tages verfügte er über 8.280.000 Chips und liegt damit auf Rang 6.<\/p>
